Danessa Myricks Wonderland Colorfix Metallic ($18.00 for 0.34 oz.) is a deep purple with a warmer, berry-ish base with a pearly-like finish. It was a lot less metallic than it was more satin-to-pearl, especially when diffused and blended out. While it was a deeper, more vivid shade, that reddish base that came through was a lot easier to diffuse and blend out than anticipated.
The product yielded full color payoff that adhered evenly to bare skin, but I would recommend using a very small amount if working with it as a cheek product or where one wanted a very diffused, blended edge. I'd then go back and add more product just where I wanted greater coverage. The texture was thin, lightweight, and spreadable with a little runniness but not the point where it inhibited application. It was quick to dry down and set in place, where it was no longer blendable, which was as marketed.
It lasted well for 10 hours as an eyeshadow, nine hours as a cheek color, and six hours as a lip product. The color went on evenly and set quickly without emphasizing my lip texture, and it did leave behind a stain after removal but felt a little drying as well.
