Danessa Myricks Coinz Colorfix Metallic ($18.00 for 0.34 oz.) is a muted, medium copper with warm, brownish undertones and a smooth sheen. It was richly pigmented where a little went a long way, but it was one of the more blendable and easier shades to use--just more forgiving than most in the formula.
The consistency was lightweight, smooth, thin, and spreadable without being prone to sheering out too readily. The formula dried down very quickly, so it was imperative to work rapidly and to use less rather than more as it was hard to correct over-application. It stayed on nicely for 10 hours without fading or creasing as an eyeshadow and nine hours before fading as a cheek product.
It applied evenly as a lip product, which was unexpected, and it didn't emphasize my lip texture. The dry down felt semi-flexible and a smidgen tacky but not to the point where color lifted up if I pressed my lips together. It lasted well for five hours and felt a touch drying over time (as a lip color).
