MAC Currant Affair Pro Longwear Paint Pot ($23.00 for 0.17 oz.) is a rich, deep red with subtle, cool undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation, which was somewhat buildable. I found that I could get fuller coverage when I used an angled brush to use it as an eyeliner, but it was harder to achieve that result with a flat, synthetic brush (as an eyeshadow or as a base) or with fingertips.
The texture was just barely creamy to the touch, and it seemed to get a little creamier as I worked my way through the first few layers of product. It blended out decently in the first few seconds of coming into contact with my skin, but it did not budge after that, which made it a less-forgiving formula to work with if one wanted to blend out the edges at all. It wore well for 15 hours before fading very slightly but hadn't creased by the 17-hour mark when I removed it.
