ColourPop Alchemist Velvet Blur Lux Lipstick ($7.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a deep, reddened berry with subtle, cool undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had buildable coverage from semi-opaque to opaque coverage, but it was definitely one of the more pigmented shades (in one layer) in the range. The texture felt smooth and velvety, so it didn't have any wet or cream-like feel yet still glided easily across my lips to lay down a thin, even layer of product. This particular shade seemed to stay out of my lip lines for the most part, which was an area that other shades struggled with. It wore well for five and a half hours, left a very faint stain behind, and was neither drying nor hydrating on me.
