ColourPop Tonic Super Shock Cheek ($8.00 for 0.15 oz.) is described as a "bright neon orange in a matte finish." It's a bold, brightened medium-dark orange with warm, red undertones. There's almost a hint of a golden sheen, but it doesn't translate as visible shimmer on the skin; it's like a natural matte, where the skin doesn't lose luminosity but doesn't look shimmery either. It was intensely pigmented, and a little goes a very long way when working with this product, so I preferred using a duo-fiber stippling brush with this to get semi-sheer color coverage that was blendable and buildable based on the look. It wore well for nine and a half hours. Urban Decay Bang (P, $26.00) is a powder. ColourPop Squint (LE, $5.00) is similar. MAC Ocean City (LE, $32.00) is lighter, powder. Fingertips will provide the highest amount of coverage.
