ColourPop Golden State of Mind 15-Pan Shadow Palette ($26.00 for 0.53 oz.) is a new, limited edition eyeshadow palette that features 15 shimmery eyeshadows. The brand described the formula as "super-pigmented" that have "one-stroke metallic intensity." They advise using "flat and firmer brushes" for "the most color payoff." Some shades are more glittery/sparkly with a looser press whereas others felt denser, creamier, and were more metallic. The latter applied better without any tricks, but the more sparkly shades applied better with a dampened flat brush. I found they wore pretty well on their own (without an adhesive base or primer), though. This palette will be most suitable for someone who enjoys pairing palettes together, as there are no mattes here and not much variety in finish. I think some of the light and mid-tone shades are a bit too similar and would have loved a few deeper shades instead.
