Black Butterfly is a deep, blackened purple with subtle, warm undertones and cooler sparkle over a metallic finish. It was intensely pigmented with a creamy, dense consistency that was a bit thick but applied evenly to my lid. I was able to blend out the edges fairly well, though I think another shade that has less shimmer and is more flesh-toned might give a better, more diffused edge than this alone. It wore well for nine hours on me before creasing faintly.
