Chanel Surprenante (129) is a moderately warm-toned, dark pink with a frost finish. It is a permanent lipstick that retails for $45.00 and contains 0.12 oz.
Chanel Surprenante (129) Rouge Allure Lipstick ($34.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium, peony pink with soft, warm yellow undertones and a slightly frosted finish. It had mostly opaque color coverage, and though the lipstick glided on without tugging on the lips, that light frost finish wasn't as flattering on lips as the regular Rouge Allures are--it just made lips seem a little dry. This shade lasted four and a half hours on me, and it was neither hydrating nor drying. Urban Decay Fiend (P, $22.00) is less frosted. Urban Decay Rush (P, $22.00) is less frosted. MAC Grande Dame (P, $22.00) is warmer. Burberry Rose Pink (307) (P, $30.00) is darker, bolder. See comparison swatches.
