Bobbi Brown Overheated Luxe Eye Shadow ($38.00 for 0.08 oz.) is a light-medium gold with warm undertones and a pearly sheen. There were faint sparkles but they did not seem to result in tons of fallout, even when I used the eyeshadow dry on the lid. The color payoff was opaque regardless of application method, but the eyeshadow had a stronger, more metallic sheen on the lid when applied with a dampened brush--it actually looked wet. It applied evenly to the lid and blended out nicely. On me, the color wore well for eight and a half hours both ways.
