Topaz is a medium, bronzy brown with warm, yellow undertones and a strong, golden sheen. The version in the palette is noticeably lighter--more subdued--than my standalone compact, which was surprising. The consistency was still quite smooth, blendable, and illuminating on the skin, though, and it didn't seem less pigmented, just lighter in overall color--not as an intense.
