Editor's Review

The Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed formula is described as having an "ultra-reflective shine" with a "creamy" texture that "applies seamlessly." In general, the texture of the highlighters is incredibly smooth, silky, and finely-milled with frosted to metallic finishes and the occasional more sparkly finish.

They tend to have a high-shine, more metallic finish and are a stronger highlighter, so they are going to be best suited to someone who likes an obvious highlight over a very subtle one. That being said, with a fan brush and a deft hand, one could certainly achieve a subtler, all-over luminosity as well, but if one takes a typical, tapered highlighting brush, there will be quite a bit of pigment and highlight on the skin.

I find that some shades can emphasize the look of pores slightly to moderately, depending on application. They tend to last between eight to nine hours on me.

I bought a mini Opal in a set to try the formula, and it was okay. The highlighter was very smooth and creamy to the touch and it applied pretty easily with a fluffy brush. The downside is that this is a pretty glittery formula on the skin. It isn't pure glitter but very noticeable sparkle on the skin so it does emphasize some pores on my skin. This was a shade too dark for me so I had to apply it sparingly but I have several other shades and they're harder to tone down than to build up. I probably would use this more on my eyes, as I prefer more natural/glowy highlighter formulas.

I love this highlighter so much I now have to buy a backup. I was really worried this wouldn't be flattering on me, but it's actually gorgeous. The color is a tangerine with a slight yellow gold undertone. The color doesn't necessarily translate as full on orange on my skintone (deep), it's more of a soft peachy gold-ish. I own a lot of peachy/coppery gold highlights, and this is unique in my collection. The formula is very on par with the typical Becca skin perfectors. It gives a very beautiful glow with a slight shimmer, and is not glittery or metallic.

Good highlighter, very pigmented - I find it to be a bit powdery at times and I prefer a cream highlighter, but it is a good staple highlighter if you like champagne powder highlighters!

Quite desappointed with this one, in the way that you really must know how to apply it correctly to deliver its magic. I firest tried it many times at the end of ma make-up, jut like i would do with ANY of my highlighters, even the cheap ones. I was very dissapointed to see how powdery and unpigmented it was and it just wouldnt show up on my skin. But that was partially my mistake, because if you apply it BEFORE you pwder, it really gives you a flattering, blinding, elegant champagne glow. But don't apply it over a foundaiton that is very sticky, or it will bunge up and look bad. All in all, a very beautiful product if used properly, but too much work for this price!! The formula is definitely not up to par with Opal, which works so easily and is beautiful all the time.

BEST HIGHLIGHTER EVER. LASTS ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT. if you want a smooth blinding highlighter that BAM! POPS! then this one is for you. it doesn't take that much product to get a nice natural glow, it is also easy to pack on if you want a more intense glow. WORTH IT.

I bought this shortly after getting the LE Glowing Gardens Pink from Dior. I was freaking out about using up the Dior product (even though I've never even hit pan on a highlighter) and got Pearl because, while it looks very different in the pan, applied it looks very similar. This is a lovely and natural looking highlighter on my fair skin and very adaptable. I can take it from subtle to more dramatic for an evening look. It's a really lovely product and of all the Becca powder highlighters, this is the shade that suits me best as Champagne Pop, which was touted as being a cooler toned option, is still too warm for me in its power formulation.

Becca Moonstone highlight pressed is my Holy Grail Highlight. I have hourglass highlights, Mac, Nars, and nothing else compares. This is one thing in my collection that I bring on every trip, to work most days. When I apply one of my many other beautiful highlights I find myself thinking, this is nice, but it's no Becca Moonstone. I am have a very fair complexion, and something about this light color, with the slightest bit of gold and sheen, really helps my complexion, (sort of the way really fair people look nice in ivory or off white, instead of bright bright white clothes). I have so much stuff, I almost never hit pan on anything, but I've hit pan on this!

It\'s beautiful and blends well on my skin. I\'m a tad lighter than Christine so it shows up on my cheeks nicely, so I could use it as a blush but I like to mix it with the blushes I do have. It\'s very versatile as I\'ve used it in summer and winter.

I have Moonstone in the liquid luminizers and didn't want to get the pressed powder in the same color. The Opal colorway swatches slightly too bright (looked almost like a shimmery blush or light bronzer) on me, even with my summer tan. The Champagne Pop is perfect for my summer/fall skin tone. I use a small soft contour brush to apply it lightly to my cheekbones, nose, and brow bones. Lots of coworkers have commented on my skin since getting this

I originally purchased this because it had great reviews and I really wanted a compact that had my name embossed into it. How could I resist! I was very surprised with this product and the moment I swatched it I was in love. This product gives the prettiest shimmer and will brighten anyone's face. It is buttery smooth and so easy to apply. The case is solid and managed to survive my toddler. A little bit of product goes a long way with this highlighter however. It is very easy to over due it so if you by this make sure to start with very little at first and slowly add more until you get the amount of highlight you desire.

I LOVE Becca products! There is no glitter its just the most gorgeous highlight to hit the top of your cheek bones, cupid's bow, under the brow, or even as an eye shadow. Definitely worth the money!

The absolute best highlighter I've found so far. Similar to the super popular MAC Whisper of Gilt. GORGEOUS! I get so many compliments on my glow when I wear this. A bit pricey but definitely worth the investment.

This color is gorgeous! There is absolutely no glitter in this highlighter, which I really love. Glitter doesn't look good on the cheekbones. Although it is a bit expensive, it was well worth it. This is the highlighter that I've been looking for all along!
