Anastasia Purple Horseshoe is a slightly warm-toned, light-medium lavender with a sparkle finish. It is a limited edition highlighter.

Purple Horseshoe is a bright, light pinky-lavender with iridescent purple and pink shimmer. This shade had a drier, looser texture--almost gritty with the way the larger sparkles separated from the powder--that applied better to the skin than it looks as a heavier swatch. The highlighter blended out well, but even at sheerer coverage, it did emphasize pores and my skin's natural texture (which is something that isn't always a deal-breaker, but it is worth noting). Sol Body High Roller (LE, $12.00) is less shimmery (95% similar). Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Datura (DC, $14.00) is cooler (90% similar). Sleek MakeUP Hemisphere (PiP, ) is less shimmery, darker (90% similar). Terra Moons Take Me to Terra (P, $6.25) is darker, cooler (90% similar). ColourPop Round 2 (LE, $10.00) is less shimmery, darker (90% similar). Too Faced Unicorn Tears (Highlighter) (LE, ) is less shimmery (90% similar). Clionadh Lofty (P, $5.25) is cooler (90% similar). Makeup Geek Blacklight (DC, $6.00) is less shimmery, darker (90% similar). Pat McGrath Lavender Blue (LE, $25.00) is less shimmery, darker (90% similar). Sephora Twilight (P, $16.00) is less shimmery, warmer (90% similar). ColourPop Poor Unfortunate Souls (LE, $10.00) is less shimmery, lighter, cooler (90% similar). Sydney Grace Black Tie (LE, $8.00) is darker (90% similar). ColourPop Still Loading (LE, $10.00) is less shimmery, darker, cooler (90% similar). I find it so interesting that Christine didn't like this one so much, because it's my favorite shade in the palette! It does have some larger glitter but with the intense duotone the glitter works. I do not have any problems with fading with this shade (unlike a couple other shades in the palette). Overall, while a purple highlight may not be for everyone, and is not necessarily the most appropriate for a formal office setting, for my job at the grocery store and going to school, shades like this suit me! It's hard to explain, but this shade is not subtle, but it's still wearable. I love it!
