I needed something quick and easy to pair with new lip products I was swatching, and I felt like Anastasia’s Modern Renaissance would be the perfect palette to wear.

Thanks, Zoe! It was fun to break it out again – I was semi-inspired (spurred on?) by the release of some of the palette’s shades in single form. But! I wanted specifically to use ones that weren’t singles (overall).
That was a good strategy, I think you were very successful! One of the reasons I struggle with this palette is the colors can look muddy on me when blended together. You managed to blend them without causing this issue! Going to try this soon. Always love your looks~

Stunning! Thanks for giving me a way to use other shades that otherwise I wouldn’t touch from Modern R. I’m curious about the lipstick. From the swatches preview for the Maybelline metallics I knew they wouldn’t score high, but this one looks more like a B instead of a C or D. Is this one of the better performers?
