Pink Eyeliners: Swatches, Dupes, and Comparisons

Pink Eyeliners
Pink Eyeliners: Tarina Tarantino Broken Doll, MAC Full of Fuchsia, MUFE #13L, UD Woodstock, UD Asphyxia

Pink Eyeliners: Your Guide

I didn’t have a lot of pink eyeliners, but these were the few that I did have, and you can see that within the five, there aren’t any dupes.

  1. TARINA TARANTINO BROKEN DOLL is a pale, shimmering pink. I didn’t find any dupes for it.
  2. MAC FULL OF FUCSHIA is a fuchsia pink with a subtle iridescent sheen. (LE)
  3. MAKE UP FOR EVER #13L is a medium pink with a metallic sheen. It is lighter than the other pinks.
  4. URBAN DECAY WOODSTOCK is a vibrant fuchsia-red pink with a metallic sheen. It is less cool-toned compared to MAC Full of Fuchsia.
  5. URBAN DECAY ASPHYXIA is a pinky-purple with a violet iridescence. (LE) Compared to these pinks, it is much purpler.

TEMPTALIA PICKS:  #1 (good for brightening), #4 (wears well)

Behind-the-Series:  It was my intention to provide heavy, opaque swatches to provide an accurate color comparison.  Some eyeliners required one pass, some required five, and a few even more.  When possible, the shade name (above) is linked to the original review so you can read more about the quality, wear, etc. of a particular eyeliner.  If we’ve never done a review, there will be no link.  Shades that were limited edition will be marked with “(LE)” and shades that were discontinued will be marked with “(DC)” after the color description.  You can also find all comparisons on The Dupe List.

What’s your favorite pink eyeliner? How do you like to use it?

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

The Tarina Tarantino looks just like the GOSH waterproof liner I purchased about a month ago. It’s called Darling (I think). Part of their winter collection.

This look needs a demo, Christine. Pretty colors, but all I can think is More Waterline? Sparkly hangover Look?

Mid tone to light eyeliners in general confuse me; MAC Catch My Eye and Little Black Bow sounded great in concept, but in practice were disastrous on me. I have no eyes without a deeper liner on my lids. They are fantastic shadows though, no primer and smudged on with a finger. And lighter colors are great on the lower lid, but eyeshadows do that job too.

Off topic, but an illustration of utter cluelessness on this trend. How about an editorial on it? Nobody wants to look like seasons ago, but then No Eyes is a scary bad make up job, lol.

Pinks usually don’t look great on my eyes, but I do like UD Woodstock. It’s great with purple shadow, and sometimes I use it to add a pop of color to a neutral look.
