Patrick Ta She's Unapologetic & She's Independent Silky Lip Crèmes Reviews & Swatches
She's Unapologetic
Patrick Ta She’s Unapologetic Monochrome Moment Silky Lip Crème ($24.00 for 0.23 oz.) is a light, peachy beige with strong, warm undertones and a cream finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single stroke, which adhered evenly to my lips and was easy to spread across them. The texture was lightweight, creamy, and spreadable without being thick or tacky, which made it more comfortable to wear.
The product “set” slightly within a few minutes of application but needed to be left alone after about 30 seconds to a minute after initial application or else it was possible the color would lift up if I pressed my lips together (before it was finished “setting”). This shade stayed on well for four and a half hours and felt hydrating while worn.

Formula Overview
$24.00/0.23 oz. - $104.35 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have a "flexible, soft finish" that "never bleeds or smudges" with "intense color payoff." It is a liquid lipstick that doesn't fully dry down but has a more transfer-resistant finish, so while there might be a touch of product that comes off the first blot or two, eventually almost nothing transfers onto a glass. The formula definitely didn't bleed or feather on me.
The pigmentation was mostly opaque to fully opaque in a single layer, which applied fairly evenly and spread well across my lips. It doesn't have that clingy, full-on dry down of more matte liquid lipstick formulations, so it was more comfortable to wear and was lightly hydrating over time. The consistency was creamy, non-sticky, and smooth, and it lived up to the "flexible" claim. I would be careful to let it "set" for a few minutes prior to pressing lips together as if I did so, it could cause some lifting--you have some play time during the initial application but then wait a couple of minutes for it to do it's "soft set."
It had a sweet mint scent but I didn't notice any taste.

She's Unapologetic
PPermanent. $24.00.
She's Independent
Patrick Ta She’s Independent Monochrome Moment Silky Lip Crème ($24.00 for 0.23 oz.) is a medium-dark, peachy-brown with strong, warm undertones and a cream finish. It had rich pigmentation that delivered fairly even coverage in a single layer. The consistency felt smooth, creamy, and spreadable without being too heavy or thick.
There was a smidgen of unevenness present along the cupid’s bow and my inner lower lip, though from a normal viewing distance, it wasn’t apparent. The formula set slightly–though not a full dry-down!–after three to four minutes and was vulnerable to lifting up color if I pressed my lips together between one and three minutes. It wore well for four and a half hours and felt lightly moisturizing over time.

Even though I would absolutely need to line my lips in order to wear it, I love She’s Independent!
Catch is, I’ve been holding back on getting many lip products lately because, 1.) Cannot try on before I buy for the time being, 2.) I really do have way too many lip products as it is. So I’ll wait.
