Patrick Ta Oh She's Single & She Must Be New Matte Suede Lipsticks Reviews & Swatches
Oh She's Single
Patrick Ta Oh She’s Single Matte Suede Lipstick ($32.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a deeper peach with strong, warm undertones and a satin finish. It had good color coverage in a single layer, though it wasn’t quite as rich in pigment as other shades in the line-up.
The consistency was smooth, velvety, and creamy without being traditionally emollient (or “wet”) as it glided across my lips. There seemed to be a smidgen more shine with this shade for the first hour or so. It could have sat more flatteringly on my lips as it separated along my deeper lip lines and did not adhere as well as it could have along the inner area of my lips. This shade lasted decently for five hours and felt non-drying over time.

Formula Overview
$32.00/0.14 oz. - $228.57 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be "fully loaded with pigment" and have a "powdery-soft, velvet finish." The texture was smooth, velvety, and creamy without a lot of shine or traditional slip--again, velvety!--of a typical lipstick but nowhere near as dry or as firm as a traditional matte lipstick either. They had rich color coverage in a single layer but felt very weightless on.
Half of the range sat fairly smoothly on my lips while the other half separated slightly along my deeper lip lines, which wasn't always enough to be noticeable in person. The colors applied evenly and were very long-wearing with most shades lasting over six hours on me and were neither drying nor hydrating over time. I didn't notice any scent or taste.

She Must Be New
Patrick Ta She Must Be New Matte Suede Lipstick ($32.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a medium-dark burgundy-red with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. It had nearly opaque color payoff in a single layer, which applied evenly and comfortably across my lips as it never tugged.
The lipstick had a dense, smooth, and velvety consistency that felt very lightweight when applied. It had the glide without traditional slip, so it didn’t feel like it was going to slide around during wear. The color stayed on well for over six hours and felt neither drying nor hydrating over time.

I’m seeing myself wearing She Must Be New come autumn and winter! That one is stunning! Sounds great until I realize that we will probably still be sporting masks even then.
I wear my lipsticks around the house. Probably looks weird getting the mail. ?
βShe Must Be Newβ at first glance looks like the same texture as P.M. Matte Trance Lipsticks .
This one looks like a beautiful deep rich color for Fall.
Looking at the dupes it appears like that particular color is a tough one to go on evenly without streaking , but this one looks even and smooth .
Once upon a time I would have been all over She Must Be New, but nowadays I find I just don’t wear such a dark burgundy shade. However, it is beautiful and looks comfortable to wear. A perfect autumn and winter shade.
She Must Be New is gorgeous. I love dark lipsticks, I din’t wear anything seasonally, though I sometime try to, it’s just that sometime I just feel for a red like this.
I looked through all the dupes and might settle for MAC Media, my lips generally likes and goes well with MAC lipsticks, also it’s been on my wish list for years. Still this one, is probably a lot better.
I’ve never tried anything by Patrick Ta, I must check where it’s available and do a bit of math. π
This and Clionadh will eat up a big part of my makeup budget, I think. And I almost skipped reading this review, thinking I don’t need any lipsticks, well, I don’t, but this is so lovely and I’m dupeless π
