Pat McGrath Blitz Gold, Dare to Bare, Flesh 4 LUST Lip Glosses Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Blitz Gold
Pat McGrath Blitz Gold LUST Lip Gloss ($28.00 for 0.15 oz.) is a medium gold-shimmered gloss that had a mostly transparent base. There was a semi-sheer level of shimmer with respect to coverage, and the gloss base seemed to enhance my natural lip color slightly. The gloss had a smooth, lightweight texture that was non-sticky and comfortable to wear with good shimmer dispersion. It wore well for three hours and was hydrating over time. It seemed that it was intended to be sheer since the base didn’t have much color/tint at all.

Formula Overview
$30.00/0.15 oz. - $200.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "multidimensional shine" with a "non-sticky texture" that "nourishes" with "exceptional adherence." The opacity ranges from "opaque to transparent." The color coverage really does vary quite a bit, but most of the shades I've tried are sheer to medium in coverage--the brand could be clearer on which shades are opaque.
The consistency has a smooth, lightweight texture that wasn't tacky and was comfortable to wear. For the most part, they didn't seem to sink into my lip lines, which can be a pitfall of gloss. I didn't find the wear time to be better than average--three to four hours--but the formula was moderately hydrating. There was a subtle vanilla scent but no discernible taste when worn.

Dare to Bare
Pat McGrath Dare to Bare LUST Lip Gloss ($28.00 for 0.15 oz.) is a light pink with warm undertones and fine, gold shimmer. It had a milkier quality to the color and coverage, though it didn’t settle as badly into my lip lines as I anticipated. The gloss applied evenly, without streaking, and had medium coverage. It had a smooth, comfortable consistency that was lightweight and didn’t feel tacky. It lasted for three hours on me and was hydrating to wear.

These 3 are failing to impress me. Very plain, easy to find shades even amongst DS lip gloss selections. Blitz Gold is definitely very pretty and sparkly, but I’m fairly sure MAC or UD has (or will soon have) something like it for $10 less.
