NYX Moon Glow Away We Glow Liquid Highlighter Review, Photos, Swatches
Moon Glow
NYX Moon Glow Away We Glow Liquid Highlighter ($6.99 for 0.22 fl. oz.) is a pale white with neutral-to-cool undertones and a very fine pearl. This was one of the least “shimmery’” shades, though it still gave the skin a subtle sheen. It seemed to be more watery than most shades, which may have accounted for its sheerer coverage that was only buildable to medium coverage. It dried down quickly but still gave me enough time to work with the product and blend it out evenly. The highlighter lasted for just over seven and a half hours on me.
The Away We Glow formula is a liquid highlighter that has buildable coverage “from soft to intense.” The brand recommends to “dab and blend” on skin for “irresistible illumination.” There are nine shades available, and the shimmer varied from shade to shade: fine pearl to chunkier sparkle. The formula has a watery, thin feel from the tube, and I liked getting a bit on the back of my hand and then dabbing with fingertips or a stippling brush onto the cheeks and high planes of the face for highlighting. It did dry down after a minute or so, and the wear ranged from seven to eight hours.

This is actually just sheer enough that almost anyone could use it, I believe. I would use it, and I’m not exactly fair-skinned. But with a light hand, I think this could impart a very softly lit glow without adding any color.
I think so – it definitely wasn’t super white on me when sheered out!
Too white for me, but will look good on paler skintones. I like how these are affordable dupes for HE highlighters
It is very light!
I’m both impressed and surprised this is a less shimmery version of my Becca Pearl. O_O
This could be a stable base for powder highlighters. I like to use Lorea;’s Lumi liquid Glow illuminator as a prime highlighter . I have Becca Pearl but this is nice for drugstore.
Sounds like the ideal dry time 🙂
Nice to know there is a cheap pearl dupe out there. I just went to target and no sign of these new guys 🙁
