Natasha Denona Natasha, Michelle, Alison Lipsticks Reviews & Swatches
Natasha (11NB)
Natasha Denona Natasha (11NB) I Need a Nude Lipstick ($25.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a light-medium, peachy beige with moderate, warm undertones and a cream finish. The lipstick had nearyl opaque color payoff that applied comfortably as it did not tug on my lips. Th texture was lightweight, velvety, and creamy enough without feeling slippery, though it wasn’t the most flattering to my lip lines/lip texture as I felt it emphasized both aspects a touch. It lasted well for four hours and felt lightly moisturizing over time.

Formula Overview
$25.00/0.14 oz. - $178.57 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to "lightweight" with a "creamy" texture and a "softly luminous finish" that feels "deeply hydrating." There was no reference to coverage, but the promotional swatches showed opaque coverage.
The range is broken up into four undertones: Beige (suits neutral, warm, red skin tones), Neutral Beige (suits all skin tones), Neutral Pink (suits all skin tones), and Pink (suits warm and yellow skin tones). The shades also range from very light to deep so that there's one that will "flatter each and every skin tone."
They are pigmented with semi-opaque to opaque coverage in a single layer, and the majority of the shades applied evenly to my lips. They have a denser, more velvety formula that had some creaminess to them without feeling traditionally wet or emollient. The formula has satin-to-cream finish that wears down to a semi-matte finish within two to three hours or can be quickly blotted down if preferred.
I noticed that most shades had a bit of product that sank into my deeper lip lines with it often not being noticeable in person, just in the close-up photos, but lighter shades were more likely to be visible in person as well as in the close-up photos. They wore between four and six hours, were lightly hydrating to non-drying, and wore away evenly. The formula has a fairly strong, sweet vanilla scent but no discernible taste.

Michelle (12NB)
Natasha Denona Michelle (12NB) I Need a Nude Lipstick ($25.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a medium-dark peach with muted, warm undertones and a cream finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single layer, which glided effortlessly across my lips due to the smooth, velvety texture that was fairly lightweight and comfortable to wear. It looked wetter than it felt, as it adhered well without feeling slippery. The issue I had with this shade was its tendency to sink into my lip lines and separate along them, so it did not look as flattering applied. It wore well for four hours and felt lightly hydrating over time.

Alison (13NB)
Natasha Denona Alison (13NB) I Need a Nude Lipstick ($25.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark pink-coral with warm undertones and a cream finish. It had opaque color coverage that applied fairly evenly, but the formula had a tendency to separate along my deeper lip lines, so it could have looked smoother and sat better on my lips. The consistency was lightly creamy, smooth, and velvety, which made it comfortable to apply, and it had good adherence without feeling clingy. It stayed on nicely for four hours and was lightly moisturizing over time.

Thank you so much. I have been waiting on lip swatches of this line so I could choose the perfect shades.
Hmm – they all look fairly similar to me and I think they are a bit expensive for a nude lipstick.
Alison isn’t so bad for my coloring, but the other two seem a tad too light or just dull for my complexion. This trio just isn’t wowing me.
I love the feel of this lipsticks- both the packaging and the texture!
I have a bunch of these, including Natasha and Alison. I find them all very easy to wear. Overall, I really do love the concept as I frequently find myself going bold for eyes and saying to myself “I need a nude”.
They spelled my name wrong; hard pass.
They’d coordinate with the new CP mega pretty well. I agree with Gen. They seem pretty similar. But folks who love nudes will see nuances that I don’t, just as I see minute differences in brown reds. I expected a better showing.
I went to Sephora and tried on all of these as well as those that were close because I’m that compulsive. And it was actually helpful because I got real clear that Claudia is the best shade for me. But I did find the formula rather drying so far have not bought it. I have a lot of the MAC nudes and tans so I also feel that I could also blend shades by wearing two together to fine tune the match and get the variety and I don’t really find the MACs drying so there’s also that.
