NARS Linda Audacious Lipstick ($34.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a medium-dark, coppery orange with warm, brown undertones and a cream finish. It had opaque color coverage in a single layer, while the lipstick was moderately creamy and had noticeable slip on the lips. The color went on evenly and did not appear streaky, even along the edges. It lasted for four and a half hours and was lightly moisturizing over time.

NARS Louise Audacious Lipstick ($34.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a medium-dark red with subtle, warm undertones and a cream finish. The pigmentation was very nearly opaque in a single layer–I could see the outline of my lip freckle peeking through but just barely. The texture was smooth, lightweight, and creamy without being slippery on the lips. I felt like this particular shade looked smoother and more flattering on the lips compared to the others released for fall. On me, the lipstick wore well for six hours and was lightly hydrating over time.

NARS Vibeke Audacious Lipstick ($34.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a medium peach with warm, orange undertones and a cream finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation with a creamy, moderately emollient texture that glided easily across the lips. The color applied evenly, but the lipstick seemed to emphasize my lips texture, which was, admittedly, worse than the norm after some of the products I had tested prior, but still, Audacious Lipsticks tend to make my lips appear better (you can see the difference in how this looked compared to the other two reviewed above, the photos were taken only a day apart). Vibeke lasted for four hours on me and was lightly hydrating.

Lots of the fall releases seem not to be coming to Sephora. Idk if they are Nars.com exclusives, or maybe Nordie’s or Barney’s…Do know that S just reset the fall displays for Nars, and none of the new lips you have reviewed or blissful is there. IIRC, Nars has their Xmas thing after thanksgiving, like the first week of Dec. Have to consider his f&f, as the list is getting longer. I guess I forgave him for putting two pinks in the Nordie’s Mustang set and having the unmitigated gall to fake me out and call them red! Louise is fab, even though I just got Shirley. Linda is an ought to try first color. The last group was superb, too. Ladies/gents, never met a Nars red that I didn’t immediately covet. Still rueing not getting a Codie and Eva, though I can’t wear polish, and they weren’t great enough to give away. Audacious is such a phenomenal formula. Enough gushing. And yeah, it did send me into yet another planning frenzy.
I know these are at Nordstrom since I picked up Vibeke in store!

My daughter’s middle name is Louise, she’s named after my grandma. My grandma had a very unusual spelling of her name, though: Loyse! But pronounced as “Louise”. Now on to the actual shade, which I am totally taken with! Yes, even with all my reds, this one went full WL for me. It’s such a deep, rich warmer red as opposed to a cooler burgundy. Very autumnal and cozy shade!
Btw; I kinda like Vibeke, which I swore I’d hate when seeing the sneak peek! Surprised!

My Mom insisted that all my daughter’s birth announcements being sent to *her* side of our family have Louise spelled as Louse, because I had told everyone that I was naming my daughter after Grandma. Including the one that got sent to Grandma! One of the only times I can remember my Mom being or encouraging dishonesty, LOL. No one knew any differently until we moved to AZ….
Nancy, my middle name is Louise! It was both my great grandmother’s names, and 4 of my auntie’s names, and is also my mother’s middle name!

Really loving Louise, and looks great with your skin, Christine! I think that the coverage for Linda is outstanding, but the color is definitely one that I’m not fond of. I remember when Tansy from ColourPop came out, and I was thinking the same thing with that shade as well. Overall, I really like the formula for the NARS Audacious lipsticks.

Is it a typo that the eyeshadow you are wearing, are the Chanel City Lights Eyeshadow Quad? Because when I look at the review you did for those eyeshadows, then they don’t look as warm and bronze colored.
No, it’s not a typo. Maybe you’re thinking of another palette? The Chanel City Lights look I did was quite warm-toned.

Vibeke looks like a more pigmented and slightly darker dupe of NARS Barbarella. Though it might just be a monitor thing. What do you think? Are they as similar as I think?

The Audacious formula is a favorite of mine and these 6 new shades are making not buying more lipsticks very difficult,lol!!!I like all 3 of these Vibeke is they type of shade I gravitate towards,Linda is perfection for fall so warm and rich,and Louise is just beautiful so I may do what kjh said and get them all during NARS friends and family if I can wait that long?
