Put in my vote for the #1 in my collection that makes me think “holy crap that is pigmented” in one swipe (MUFE Artist Rouge) and voted for two others that were on the list that I agree with being pigmented and a formula I like (Bite Amuse Buche & CP Lux).
Big list of total faves: the Pats (which aren’t as me-chemistry-friendly as the others,) the Audacious, the CPs, and the bites. kvd ell are very pigmented as well, but like many, rather off her products. We have such an embarrassment of riches, when it comes to terrific lipstick.
I voted for:
ColourPop Lux Lipsticks – having just tried them in the past month or so, I have found them to be fabulous
Besame Colour lipsticks – I have one and it is beautiful
I added in Clarins Joli Rouge – a great line that I purchased awhile ago, on sale, and I am so glad I did.
I have just ordered some Bite Amuse Bouche lipsticks, and I am glad that these are at the top of the list.
Lippie Stix by Colourpop. There is absolutely nothing as pigmented as them. It is a shame it seems they are discontinuing them in favor of the bullet ones. My favorite red (trust me) and.pink (poppin) are from this line. There goes I again trying to find something else.
I love the ultra matte formula. It applies like Nars Velvet Matte crayons, but dries to a true matte finish just like MAC Ruby Woo is… in the bullet (which difficults.its application). The bullet ones sink.into my lines and aren’t matte really. More like a satin (or semi-matte).
They small amount so you are more likely to use them up and small priced accordingly.
I like Laura Mercier Extreme Matte Velour (it is my second), but it has the double amount of Lippie Stix… and costs 5x more. Nah ha ha!
I love the Bite lipstick and the Bite pencils . I also love Mac lipsticks and Mac glosses–which are my favorite gloss. I like sticky glosses because they are usually more glossy and they last longer than the non-sticky type. I am not a fan of the UD lipsticks as I feel they don’t have enough pigment.
Usually my natural lip color will show through a bit, but Nars Audacious is the only line I’ve tried where it looked like my lips were completely disguised
