Milani Peach-ella Ludicrous Lights Duo Chrome Highlighter Review & Swatches
Peach-ella
Milani Peach-ella Ludicrous Lights Duo Chrome Highlighter ($10.99 for 0.24 oz.) has more of a translucent base that’s packed full of iridescent pink and warmer pink shimmer and sparkle that gave it a shiny, glittering finish. It had semi-sheer, buildable coverage, which seemed in line with the formula’s claims. The texture was surprisingly smooth for as glittery as the finish was, though I could definitely tell it had some sparkle to it.
It wasn’t too firmly nor too softly pressed into the pan, so it picked up readily with a brush but wasn’t prone to powderiness in the pan. The color applied evenly to bare skin and blended out well, but there were a few sparkles that dispersed more readily along with some that migrated/dropped during wear. It stayed on well for eight hours, aside from the migration, which was enough to be noticeable.

Formula Overview
$10.99/0.24 oz. - $45.79 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have buildable coverage that "blends and builds seamlessly" with a "silky, ultra-smooth" consistency. The texture was soft without being powdery, smooth (but noticeably sparkly), and blendable on my skin. There was a mix of finer shimmer and smaller flecks of sparkle throughout that gave it a very iridescent, smooth sheen to skin.
The coverage ranged from semi-sheer to mostly opaque, buildable in most instances, and was fairly blendable. There were some stray sparkles that dusted away during application and some that moved during wear, though most of the color wore well for eight hours.

This one also appears to have a somewhat darker base. Interesting. It’s very beautiful.
While it looks a bit “can be seen from outer space-ish”, I like this. If I can find it here (SDM carries Milani but a very limited range), I will probably grab this. It’s very pretty.
Looks really lovely on! But I don’t see it working as well on me. My fear is that it would look too glittery. Perhaps not, though.
I brought this a few weeks ago and returned it. Way too much large sparkles for me to wear on my cheeks. Would be a pretty color for the eyes though. Glad it rated well for others.
A very pretty shade, great rating and well priced. But a bit too shiny for me.
