Marc Jacobs Beauty Just Peachy Le Marc Lip Frost Lipstick ($30.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium-dark copper with warm, red undertones and a soft, metallic sheen. It had good pigmentation, though it wasn’t opaque, that applied evenly and smoothly across my lips. The lipstick had a lightweight, emollient consistency that was thin without feeling clingy. This shade was more flattering on my lips than others, though there was a bit of emphasis of my deeper lip lines. It wore well for five hours and was lightly moisturizing over time.

The formula is supposed to be "rich" and "creamy" with "indulgent color" paired with a "metallic-frost finish" that lasts for "10 hours." The longevity claims it the part that kills the product's rating; even if it was fantastic across the board, the formula lasts between four and five hours--nowhere close to 10! The pigmentation varied from shade to shade but most had semi-opaque or better coverage. The finish was most definitely "metallic-frost," so sometimes the finish was more likely to emphasize my lip lines or any imperfections in texture, though most looked just fine from a normal viewing distance. A few shades applied well enough but a few were less even, while the formula was smooth and comfortable to apply and to wear. There's a subtle, vanilla scent but no discernible taste (though the description indicated it was a scent and taste).

Marc Jacobs Beauty Diva Le Marc Lip Frost Lipstick ($30.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a pale pink with subtle, warm undertones and a metallic sheen. It had medium to semi-opaque pigmentation but it was never opaque and always looked more like a layering shade on due to the more translucent base color. The texture felt smooth, thin, and emollient, so it glided easily across my lips, but it separated along my lip lines and color accumulated in those lines initially and over time. This shade stayed on for three and a half hours on me but was lightly hydrating.

Marc Jacobs Beauty Sugar Sugar Le Marc Lip Frost Lipstick ($30.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a soft peach with warm undertones and a golden, frosted sheen. It had medium coverage, which didn’t build up much beyond semi-opaque (at best). The texture was lightly creamy, emollient but not thick or heavy, but it did not apply evenly and gravitated into my lip lines. The pigment seemed to clump around some of the larger shimmer/sparkle, too, which did my lips no favors. It lasted for a mere three hours on me, but it was, at least, lightly moisturizing.

Just Peachy isn’t too awful, but having already decided that EL Tiger Eye will be one of only a few lipsticks I have planned on buying in 2019, I will stick with the far superior Tiger Eye.
Diva cracks me up! THAT is so Nancy 1984! Well, whenever I wasn’t sporting red or fuchsia, ?
And NO words for Sugar Sugar will suffice….it’s just BAD.
Before I even read the review I was thinking about how pretty Diva would be layered over something less translucent. Maybe if it goes on clearance.
Frost is a finish that correctly died in the 60’s.
None of these shades appeal to me so I am happy to pass on these. My lips being more pigmented would make these look even worse than they sound.
The formula needs an overhaul, I think!!
