We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Love the pencils as always, and rue that they perform poorly on me. Dove Gray and Steel(etto) are terrific. Do I recall ever seeing a blunt tip on these before? Is this an anti-breakage adjustment?

This palette doesn’t scream spring to me but it does appear to be a nice, cohesive palette. I usually get along pretty well with Marc Jacobs e/s formula and have several of his palettes in this format. I really love the liners and in particular Dove Affair. Even the lipstick doesn’t say spring but looks more fall like. I don’t think this is going to be one of my only two allowed e/s palettes this year and the liners are not the best on my eyes so this collection, sadly, will be an easy pass for me. As you always say, Christine, money saved!

I just received the new Viseart Liaison palette so between that, Smashbox Punked, and the other cool tone palettes I have, I’m trying to tell myself I don’t need this…

Anyone else noticed the phrase the shade names make?
“Rule the concrete jungle, sidewalks become sparkling catwalks.”
Or is this common knowledge and I am a late bloomer? ;-/

It’s buried in the marketing – might have been emphasized more when they re-did the palettes to begin with, but here’s what they say:

Read the shade names from left to right for a short poem:
rule / the concrete / jungle / sidewalks / become / sparkling / catwalks
