Makeup Geek Spell Bound Blush ($9.99 for 0.15 oz. pan; $12.99 for 0.15 oz. compact) is described as a “light tan with salmon undertones.” It’s a muted, medium, rosy pink with a soft, pearly sheen. MAC Cheeky Bugger (LE, $21.00) is less shimmery. NARS Love (LE, $29.00) is darker. Urban Decay Overexposed (LE) is less shimmery. NYX Mauve (P, $5.00) is cooler-toned, less shimmery. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

The consistency of the powder was soft, smooth, and buttery, which made this blush easy to apply, because it was very blendable and applied evenly. It just didn’t take a lot of work to use, and it’s a more foolproof blush that I could see becoming someone’s go-to for everyday wear. It has a satiny finish that gets more luminous as it is sheered out and blended into the skin, but the shimmer never emphasizes pores. It had good, true-to-pan color payoff, and the color wore well for eight and a half hours before fading.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Christine, thanks again for all your hard work and dedication. I bought Bliss and Love Affair based in your reviews. I bought Spellbound before you had an opportunity to review and I do not regret it. I am so in Love with MUG blushes. I am looking forward to purchasing a few others.

I will have to go check MUG site again, soon. I guess most of the blushes is sold out, but I can always put myself on e-mail alert for when they come back in stock.
This is such a lovely shade. Radiant. At least on you, Christine. I also love the earrings!
