The formula is supposed to be pigmented, long-wearing, and blendable (for more on how it compares to the previous formula, check out this post). This blush was very pigmented, and the texture was soft, finely-milled, and smooth, but it wasn’t dusty or powdery, so it didn’t sheer out immediately upon being blended. It was easy to maneuver and diffuse the edges of the blush on the skin for a very blended look. This shade wore well for just over eight hours on me before I noticed slight fading.

Ooooooh this is a pretty one!
Thank you!
I definitely want to pick this up eventually.. but do not have anything else high priority on my wishlist from MUG. I can’t pay more for shipping than the product itself.. nope can’t.
You cannot! I can barely pay shipping to begin with, lol.
This is pretty! Cute name and price is reasonable too
It is pretty!
It’s really pretty. I have Baby Love and Exposed, though, so I’ll be skipping.
You are covered in this color family!
Wow!!! Love this one a lot! Looks quite a bit like my pan of Milani Romantic Rose, whose scent drives me bats. Cute name, Puppy Love, too! MUG may finally get an order from me.
Scented blush, why!
Beautiful color, but smells of ROSES. Literally. Made my eyes feel itchy, and I wasn’t getting any in my eyes that I know of.
Oh strange, I think you might have a bad batch. have Milani Awakening Rose and Blossomtime Rose Blush, and mine don’t smell at all, not even when I shove my nose super close to the pan. There is a small amount of rose hip oil in there (very last ingredient), but it doesn’t bother me, and my cheeks are normally super sensitive to fragrance.
That just may have happened, huh? In which case, because I purchased it in Albertson’s (a local food store) I doubt they’ll let me return it. I guess it’ll be alright using it only once a week or so until I can get something that doesn’t smell!
I kind of like this one! Good for Rosacea!
Yayy!
Rating of Tarte Exposed blush has changed? I see a C+ now!
I don’t know if it changed, but I re-reviewed it recently , so that might be why, as it would be moved to our current rating system.
C+ because of the wearing time: Tarte claims that their blush wears 12 hours, Christine timed 8 hours, that explains the relatively low rate!
Thank you. I see also a highlighter with the same name.
Yes, they came together. Both look nice in my opinion, just not super super long wearing…
Wearing this today..sun. Hadn’t dipped into the new mugs from the sale too often. On me, it’s much cooler, or maybe mauvier, less neutral than exposed or unearthed. Much closer to the pan color than on your swatch, or in the look. I tend to forget how our skintones skew colors, until I se an example like this. Quite like it, enough for twice this week.
It’s a very easy shade to wear – I feel like these more neutral, mauve-brown-plum shades tend to vary a lot with skin tones!
YASSS!! This is my favourite kind of colour to reach for!! I’m glad it got a good rating and it looks like it swatched and wore really well too!! I’m putting my MUG shopping list together so this came at a really good time!
