Jetsetter
Makeup Geek Jetsetter Plush Lip Creme ($14.00 for 0.10 fl. oz.) is a light-medium peachy brown with warm undertones and a lightly glossy, cream finish. The color coverage was nearly opaque, while it had a smooth, cream-like feel that spread easily across the lips. It was a little slippery, so it did settle into my lip lines over the three hours it lasted. The formula did not dry out my lips and was fairly comfortable to wear.
The Plush Lip Creme formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with a hybrid, “cream and mousse” consistency. The consistency has a very velvety, smooth feel that wasn’t heavy nor did it feel thin or watered down. It seemed to be quite flattering and forgiving when it was initially applied, but there were some shades where the color pulled into my lip lines while worn, and they only lasted two to four hours on me. They were more comfortable to wear than liquid lipstick that dries down to a matte finish and were mostly non-drying. They did not have any noticeable scent or taste to me.

Old Soul
Makeup Geek Old Soul Plush Lip Creme ($14.00 for 0.10 fl. oz.) is a muted, medium-dark mauve with neutral-to-cool undertones and a cream finish. It had good color coverage with a smooth, lightweight texture that was creamy without being too thin or too thick. There was a noticeable sheen and slip, and there was also a bit of color that sat in my deeper lip lines (which worsened over time). The color lasted for four hours and was neither drying nor hydrating.

Socialite
Makeup Geek Socialite Plush Lip Creme ($14.00 for 0.10 fl. oz.) is a smoky, medium-dark mauve with warmer undertones and a lightly glossy finish. The pigmentation was good, though not enough to be opaque, and the texture had more slip in it than other shades, so it did not seem to apply as evenly (it did not seem to want to adhere as well on the inner area of my lips). The consistency was comfortable to wear, lasted for four hours, and felt neither drying nor hydrating while worn. This was one of the more unique shades in the range.

MUFE C211 pulls a lot pinker on me, so it looks like Old Soul. And MAC Hot Chocolate pulls grayer and mauvier on me, so looks like Socialite. So I ordered Misfit instead, will be coming next week
Keep me posted on how you like Misfit!
Love Socialite! That shade just has a little sumthin-sumthin going on with it that makes it wishlist worthy for me. It’s that very cool sophisticated smokeyness factor it has. I’ve got a feeling that this will be my 1st year ordering from MUG.
I like the color of Socialite, too!
Love the Color of Socialite. Old Soul is really pretty, too.
Do you think you’ll try any shades from this formula?
Maybe. If I order the highlighters I want, I might toss one or two lip colors in the cart, too.
Jetsetter is gorgeous! I do enjoy the names of these quite a lot!!
Glad to hear it!
I really like the colors of Old Soul and Socialite, better than their dupes (which all seem to be warmer). I wish the performance was excellent, because I tend not to use my liquid lipsticks that much unless there’s something really unusual or outstanding about them… on the fence with these.
I’m sad to say that I do not think I’d reach for any of these, just because the formula isn’t quite there for me 🙁 I agree that the colors are cool, though!
If Old soul and socialite had a baby, that would be my dream colour!!
Haha!
I like the color of Socialite, and that it’s a bit darker.
Yay 🙂
Socialite is really fun in color.
After hearing these being so hyped up by Marlena and the swatches, I’m somewhat disappointed in how all of them seem to be performing. I feel like if I wanted a liquid lipstick that didn’t dry down matte, I’m better off getting the Colourpop Ultra Satin Lips because they seem to wear so much better and are so much cheaper
Ultra Satins are a lot better in consistency (for quality) and wear, particularly if you are aiming for a satin-to-matte finish. I can see why these might appeal to some in the market, since they are glossier than regular liquid lipsticks, but the Plush Lip Mattes confuse me as they are more matte but lack the wear time of most liquid lipsticks and do not break down very nicely!
