BFF
Makeup Geek BFF Plush Lip Creme ($14.00 for 0.10 fl. oz.) is a light-medium pink with warm, yellow undertones and a natural finish. It had good color payoff, but the consistency had a little graininess to it that was noticeable when I pressed my lips together. It had good pigmentation–nearly opaque–that covered evenly but emphasized lip lines due to settling. This shade lasted for three hours on me, but the color pulled further into my lip lines while worn. The formula was neither drying nor hydrating, and it felt comfortable to wear.
The Plush Lip Creme formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with a hybrid, “cream and mousse” consistency. The consistency has a very velvety, smooth feel that wasn’t heavy nor did it feel thin or watered down. It seemed to be quite flattering and forgiving when it was initially applied, but there were some shades where the color pulled into my lip lines while worn, and they only lasted two to four hours on me. They were more comfortable to wear than liquid lipstick that dries down to a matte finish and were mostly non-drying. They did not have any noticeable scent or taste to me.

Troublemaker
Makeup Geek Troublemaker Plush Lip Creme ($14.00 for 0.10 fl. oz.) is medium-dark lavender with subtle, warm undertones and a glossy, cream finish. It had semi-opaque color coverage that went on evenly with very little color that pulled into my lip lines. It felt more emollient than some of the other shades, and this one felt like it was easier to over-apply, so I recommend using less than you think and gradually building up along the edges. On me, it wore well for three and a half hours and left a fuchsia stain behind.

Prankster
Makeup Geek Prankster Plush Lip Creme ($14.00 for 0.10 fl. oz.) is bright magenta purple with warm, pinky violet undertones and a cream finish. It had nearly opaque color payoff that went on smoothly and evenly. The texture was lightweight, creamy without being too thick, and easily spread across the lips. This shade lasted for four hours and left a bright, fuchsia pink stain behind. I did not find it hydrating, but it wasn’t drying either.

Are there any nude shades in the range? I went through a few old posts and didn’t see any 😉 The formula looks great for the price!
It’s a pretty short range!
Ooooh, not sure if I can pull them off with my skintone, but I like Prankster and Troublemaker! Nice cheery spring colors, not the usual pinks
Both pretty picks!
I LOVE Troublemaker and Prankster, but I have so many dupes of both of those shades that unless there was something outstanding about the formula that was different enough from what I already have, I’ll have to pass – even though I don’t want to! Maybe if they go on sale sometime?
The formula has a really nice feel going on, but I don’t feel like it’s a standout formula in other ways, you know?
Troublemaker and Prankster are both gorgeous shades! But, me being the purple lover that I am, have these covered in dupes already. ?
Yay for dupes! 🙂
Troublemaker is nice.
Glad ya liked it, Erin!
I like the color of Troublemaker. I really like the color of Prankster, but have a couple of the dupes!
Do you think you’ll eventually try one?
I’m not sure… I find that I don’t use my Colour Pop liquid satin lippies or NYX liquid suedes unless I make a special effort to think about it, even though I really like the colors. I think I’m afraid I’ll mess up touching up with them when I’m away from home. If the applicator wand was shorter, I feel like I wouldn’t be as worried about that.
Christine I think there’s a typo in the first sentence for BFF – it says ‘jetsetter’ 🙂
Prankster looks fantastic on you.
Ooh, Prankster is very pretty!
