MAC x Nicopanda Pink-off, Pop Babe, Toung 'n' Chic Lipsticks Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Pink-off
MAC Pink-off Nicopanda Lipstick ($18.50 for 0.11 oz.) is a light-medium pink with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. It had good pigmentation with a lightly creamy texture that had some slip–again, not actually a “matte” as described. The lipstick applied fairly evenly, but the slight slip in the texture made it more prone to settling into my lip lines over time, and I think this was exacerbated with the stronger white base that came through the color itself. It wore well for four hours with some settling into lip lines, while the formula itself was neither drying nor hydrating on me.

Pop Babe
MAC Pop Babe Nicopanda Lipstick ($18.50 for 0.11 oz.) is a bright, medium-dark fuchsia pink with cool, blue undertones and a satin finish. The color payoff was opaque in a single stroke, and it had a smooth, velvety texture that glided across my lips without being too thick or too thin and had just enough slip not to tug. It applied evenly and stayed on well for six hours. This shade left a stain behind and was non-drying.

Toung 'n' Chic
MAC Toung ‘n’ Chic Nicopanda Lipstick ($18.50 for 0.11 oz.) is deep berry with subtle, cool undertones and a satin finish. The “matte” finish described wasn’t apparent until two to three hours after I applied it, which is typical of most satin finishes anyway. The texture was smooth, dense but not overly firm so it didn’t drag on my lips during application. It had good color payoff that was buildable to full coverage with a second layer. It wore well for six hours, left a slight stain behind, and was neither drying nor hydrating.

Toung ‘n’ Chic Is a beautiful shade, but I have dupes and I really hate this packaging. The shade looks similar to MAC Rebel, too.
Out of all 6 shades of lipstick in this collection, the one most wearable shade for me would have to be Toung ‘n Chic. Nothing else would flatter me. What holds me back from buying it is also the very thing I find to be so cute, whimsical and fun: that bulbous panda head! I love it, but I’ve been forced to transition to crossbody bags due to an old shoulder injury. Those don’t usually have much room for makeup to carry around for t/ups. But that shade is sooo beautiful!
Toung N’ Chic is a lovely berry shade.
I do so appreciate your close up vs. full face shots, it really does show how the lipstick (and how a cool-toned pink) will really look on the face.
I was holding up my laptop to my hubby and showing him the beautiful pink of pink-off in the tube, and then how it translates as a whole look; a truly difficult colour for me to pull off.
These colors do not appeal to me.
