MAC x Nicki Minaj The Pinkprint & Nicki's Nude Lipsticks Reviews, Photos, Swatches
The Pinkprint
MAC The Pinkprint Lipstick ($17.50 for 0.10 oz.) is a soft, light-medium pink with warmer undertones and a natural sheen. The pigmentation was nearly opaque in a single layer. It seemed to have more slip than most Amplifieds, which made it appear a touch streaky along the edges and more prone to settling in my lip lines. The texture was comfortable to wear as the creamy quality helped it glide on without tugging. It wore well for four hours but settled further into my lip lines. The formula felt lightly moisturizing while worn.

MAC Lipstick comes in a variety of finishes, and the pigmentation and wear tend to be dependent on the finish. The sheer finishes, like Lustres, tend to wear for only a couple of hours and have sheer coverage (as designed) and are non-drying.
Some of the original Matte shades have a stiffer, drier formula, while newer ones have a more velvety, silicone-feel to them, and the latter are creamier, more comfortable to wear, and easier to apply, but most Matte shades are quite pigmented and long-wearing, though some are drying.
The Amplified and Satin finishes tend to have good pigmentation, lightly creamy to moderately creamy consistencies with a bit of shine, and moderate to long wear with deeper, richer shades wearing longer. The Frost and Metallic finishes have the most variance between shades with coverage ranging from semi-sheer to opaque with average wear and non-drying to slightly drying formulas. All MAC lipsticks are vanilla-scented but have no discernible taste.

Nicki's Nude
MAC Nicki’s Nude Lipstick ($17.50 for 0.10 oz.) is a soft, medium pink coral with warm undertones and a satin sheen. It had nearly opaque pigmentation with a lightweight, creamy texture that wasn’t too thick or too thin on the lips. The color glided on with ease and lasted for four and a half hours while being just a touch hydrating.

IDK, but looks streaky and not flattering colors for me. But I’m eyeing some of the other colors in this collection
Why does The Pinkprint look so melted? Is that the texture?
It was broken at the base, so it had fallen inside the tube.
Waiting to receive my package that has Nicki’s Nude in it and am thrilled to see that it got into the A zone! I knew this one would likely work with my coloring, so I didn’t hesitate.
Looks like the AZ heat got to The Pinkprint, sadly. That shade just has me very puzzled. It definitely doesn’t look WoC friendly at all, not even medium tone friendly. It is, however, very much Ms. Minaj’s style!
I don’t know – I think it was just lose at its base so it fell over and got mushed! All of the others (19 lipsticks!) in the same box were fine! It was also only in AZ from like 5AM to 10AM 🙂
Oh, okay, that would certainly explain its smushey appearance! 5 hrs., especially in the cooler part of the day generally doesn’t melt lipsticks here, unless it’s 110 or above. My 2 lipsticks arrive tomorrow, so I’m hoping they’re not going to be stuck on the truck all day long.
I’m waiting with my face pressed against the window for my delivery of these 2 today. Nicki’s Nude looks really pretty on your with the eye look you created! Pinkprint also looks nicer on you than I’d expect given that it’s light and pulls cool. The MJ shades really work so well for you and that eye look is gorgeous (makes me wish I could wear it!) Thanks for your review and pics!
Hope you love ’em!!
Mine swatched a little better than yours but then neither arrived weirdly broken or melted. I’m going to try Nicki’s Nude today for wear. I need to go back and look at your other collection swatches again and jump off your link now that MAC is offering a 15% off code!
That lippie looks like chocolate that was left in the pocket:).
These colors look great on you..not sure if I am gunna get one..kinda want one but not sure.
I bought Nicki’s Nude and left the Pink Print as it was too light and unflattering on me. Nicki’s Nude is really nice ??
Nicki’s Nude has a pretty pink tinge to it. As nude lipsticks go, this is a good one.
What MAC lip liner would you suggest to pair with Nicki’s Nude lipstick? Love your reviews! ?
Hmm, maybe In Synch?
Weird, when I swatch them side by side on my hand, my NARS Brigitte is actually darker than my Nicki’s Nude! Either way, they’re both gorgeous and I probably don’t need both, but I’m already more than halfway through my Brigitte, so clearly I get enough use out of shades like that.
These are very pretty. I like that she has so many shades to suit many skintones.
I cannot wear these shades to save my life; nudes like this make me look ill. This collection may well be a pass for me.
Loving this shade, but then I checked the dupe list and I have five of them! Hmmm, I see a pattern here…..but may pick this up anyway lol…
Need to see these in store but both could work for me.
I like Niki’s Nude but it’s probably too warm for me.
Nope. Nope. Nope. I have enough lipsticks that I have to use a liner with b/c they aren’t POC friendly.
I think I have found one of my favourite nudes ever!
I bought 3 of Nicki’s nude lipstick cause I can’t get enough of it,
I think I love it even more because its in mu favourite finish Amplified.
