MAC Wrapped Candy Extra Dimension Blushes Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Wrapped Candy
MAC Wrapped Candy Extra Dimension Blush ($28.00 for 0.15 oz.) is rich, medium-dark berry with subtle, cool undertones and cooler, violet and pink pearl. It was richly pigmented, and a little went a long way, but the soft, blendable consistency made it easier to control and work with on the cheeks–essential characteristics for something darker and pigmented. As I blended out the powder, it became more luminous and the cooler shimmer made it read cooler than it looked in the pan. The blush started to fade after ten hours of wear.
The Extra Dimension Blush formula is supposed to have “long-wearing colour with prismatic reflections” that wears for “10 hours.” The formula is typically very pigmented with a soft, smooth texture that’s firmer in the pan but not difficult to use–I had no issues grabbing color with even my softest brushes–and has no dustiness or powderiness in the pan. The blushes are usually blendable with a luminous glow on the cheeks that did not emphasize my skin’s natural texture. With MAC’s newly-added permanent shades, the wear time has ranged from eight to ten hours.

Gosh, these are all so beautiful. I don’t know how I will limit myself to just 2 or 3. This looks amazing on you, Christine. I love a blush that incorporates a little luminosity to the skin and doesn’t emphasize my skins natural texture.
Aw, thank you, Deborah!
Wrapped Candy is better than candy 🙂
Hahaha!
This blush is gorgeous! I see it in my future.
It is a beauty!
WOW!!! Beautiful!
Agreed!
This is one of the ones I really want to get (along with Into the Pink and one other one – I forget the name now and will have to look it up). SO gorgeous. I’m just waiting for my local MAC to restock this beauty.
I hope your MAC gets more stock soon!
What a beautiful shade this one is! Funny how I’ve got some of its dupes on my crazy long WL, ie; Sleek Pomegranate and LG Plumberry, so I must really love this particular shade.
The question is how often do you wear this type of shade 😉
So far, I don’t even have anything that’s an all-in-one, just ones on my WL. But; I do wear UD Bittersweet with CP Sticky Sweet over it quite often in an effort to get that sort of shade!
This is the review i’v been waiting for!! 😀
I think I’ll get this one, as I own nothing like it!!!
Woohoo!
Doubt I can resist this, esp as my dupes are pretty dissimilar. Thought I could go for more midrange, but the more intense shades are ‘funner.’ Lots out from MAC that appeals and is well reviewed. Once I started, this has been the most hauled spring of ever! Lots out there that isn’t warm pink or coral…. Despite substantial first blood damage at S today, might just have to visit MAC. Although, to be honest, the website gives me no idea of the true colors. Why, Temptalia, of course. We all ARE really dependent on you. Thanks for all you do.
They did some great colors – I was glad to see a mix of lighter and deeper hues!
xoxo
Very interesting colour! I like that it has 2 different colours of pearl.
It is!
Very pretty! I don’t have anything like it!
It is a stunning shade!
I’m loving the different shades in this line!
Me too 😀
Wow! I love the look of this one in pan. I think this could give me that burning cheek look as it has a bit too much depth for me for my tastes against my skin, but I think it looks freaking lovely on you.
Thank you, Wendy! 😀
I love how it looks on you, a beautiful color and finish, but too intense for me.
This seems to be a winning formuls, there are very few of the ones you have reviewed I don’t want. It’ll be really hard chosing just one or two.
This one is really just gorgeous.
This is beautiful! I wish I could wear this shade!
