Wrapped Candy

MAC Wrapped Candy Extra Dimension Blush ($28.00 for 0.15 oz.) is rich, medium-dark berry with subtle, cool undertones and cooler, violet and pink pearl. It was richly pigmented, and a little went a long way, but the soft, blendable consistency made it easier to control and work with on the cheeks–essential characteristics for something darker and pigmented. As I blended out the powder, it became more luminous and the cooler shimmer made it read cooler than it looked in the pan. The blush started to fade after ten hours of wear.

The Extra Dimension Blush formula is supposed to have “long-wearing colour with prismatic reflections” that wears for “10 hours.” The formula is typically very pigmented with a soft, smooth texture that’s firmer in the pan but not difficult to use–I had no issues grabbing color with even my softest brushes–and has no dustiness or powderiness in the pan. The blushes are usually blendable with a luminous glow on the cheeks that did not emphasize my skin’s natural texture. With MAC’s newly-added permanent shades, the wear time has ranged from eight to ten hours.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Doubt I can resist this, esp as my dupes are pretty dissimilar. Thought I could go for more midrange, but the more intense shades are ‘funner.’ Lots out from MAC that appeals and is well reviewed. Once I started, this has been the most hauled spring of ever! Lots out there that isn’t warm pink or coral…. Despite substantial first blood damage at S today, might just have to visit MAC. Although, to be honest, the website gives me no idea of the true colors. Why, Temptalia, of course. We all ARE really dependent on you. Thanks for all you do.
