Beauty Powders “can be applied as a highlight, soft blush, or overall finish,” according to MAC. The texture of the powder feels smooth to the touch, and it’s not rock solid, but it is more firmly pressed in the pan than the last few Beauty Powders, which gave it a slightly chalky, drier consistency that just didn’t sit or blend out as nicely on the skin. The lighter shade made it more forgiving overall, and the light sheen saves it from looking powdery on the skin. It had semi-sheer, buildable coverage (up to medium), which is in line with how the product is marketed, and it did have a slight brightening/warming effect on my skin (I’m about NC25/NC30, medium in color). On my skin, the powder lasted seven and a half hours before fading.

It’s a pretty, peachy shade, but ashame the formula isn’t better because all of the close dupes (90% dupe) are LE
It’s always interesting how certain shades are often LE. Makes you wonder why they aren’t permanent… anywhere?
It looks so soft and pretty!
The color is pretty!
Too bad it was dry and chalky. :/
Hm, too bad it’s a bit stiffer than the other beauty powders. Pretty little shade though!
It was disappointing!
Now I’m sad! Ok..I guess. I’m changing my mind on this. It looks so pretty on you Christine and your skin tone is really close to mine. But,”disappointing” is not good. I’ll check out the dupes. 🙁
I really love this one for a fresh no-makeup makeup look blush! It has a lovely fresh look. However, I doubt it would show up on me at NC37-40?
On a side note: I have been loving this eye look you’ve been rocking during the Flamingo launch! It has a beautiful smouldering warmth to it!
I don’t think it is going to show up 🙁
Thank you!
On an additional side note, I love your eye makeup as well. Very nice. The lip color is also great on you 🙂
I was thinking that as well! So beautiful! Is it broke down anywhere on your website (what goes where etc.?)? Thanks!
I love the color, but it does look pretty chalky. Pass for me.
They were doing so well on recent Beauty Powders, lol!
This would probably be a godsend for super pale warmed toned people. I wish there was a better rated dupe! I like a soft blush like that. I’m all over the map with blushes though. I really appreciate most opacities but I always need a hint of sheen!
It would definitely work for fairer skin tones, but I wish the texture was better.
Love that peachy color. If only the formula wasn’t as chalky.
Right? It’s a bummer.
I think this one looks pretty on you, Christine!
Thank ya, Fran!
Oh man..on the fence. I really like this one and there is something about MAC beauty powders that I really have started loving. I really just got into them to. I know they have been around forever. I think it’s the cutesy names, lol! I like the finish a lot. I find myself loving creams lately. But, they don’t wear long. So, I like that sheen. Okay-yep,getting it.
lol! This one is a little drier than others. Like Pearl Sunshine and Pearl Blossom are kind of the “best” of Beauty Powders to me, but this one is just so-so.
A really lovely shade that I could wear, but I wish the rating was better.
Me too 🙁
So beauty powder is a blush? I am so confused. I can’t tell it looks chalky by the swatch. You ladies are pretty amazing.
It really depends on your skin tone on how a beauty powder may be used.
Such a pretty color. Shame the formula doesn’t sound up to par.
Agreed!
How does it compare to pearl sunshine? Seems a bit lighter…
You can compare any two on your own at any time you want, Kary! The tool is on every single review page and is also located under “Swatches” so you can create your own side-by-side comparisons of two products I’ve swatched.
I don’t think they are similar, personally – Pearl Sunshine is darker, browner, and more orange and has zero coral/pink tones and is a lot more shimmery! Hope that helps! 🙂

Thank you so much for all the help Christine! I ordered it this morning 🙂
