MAC Naturally: Subtle Breeze Mineralize Blush

MAC Subtle Breeze Mineralize Blush ($22.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a “blue-pink.” It’s a cool-toned, blue-based pink with a subtle pink glow. NYX English Rose is a bit lighter. Bobbi Brown Pretty Pink is less blue-based. MAC Briar Rose looks similar on cheeks, though a bit cooler-toned.  Though it does lean cool, I found it very wearable on my warmer complexion.  It has good color payoff without being too intense, so it’s buildable but workable without having to use a very light hand.

The texture is soft like silk without being powdery, so it’s easy to apply, extremely blendable, and the finish is incredibly natural and glowy. It’s not high-shine or lots of sheen and shimmer. I tested out Subtle Breeze from this collection for wear, and it lasted for around six hours before it started to look noticeably faded on my normal-to-dry skin. I’ve never had good luck with getting MAC’s mineralize products to wear all day on me, unfortunately.

Gorgeous! How does this compare to the Chanel Horizon blush? I’m trying to find a more affordable alternative… Thinking I might just need to splurge!

This is totally “my” sort of colour and I love MAC’s mineralized blushes. Oh dear – I just got a new MAC blush for Xmas from my son and now I’m craving this baby!

OoOoo pretty!!!! I’m really liking most of this collection!

Ah! Helloooo, pretty photos. I feel like the depth of focus is shallower than usual in your Naturally posts, or the photos are brighter, or something? Idk, I’m probably way off-base, but I’m LOVING these shots!

Of course, the gorgeous products are definitely helping, too 😛

OMG… you look so pretty with these new MAC cosmetics! You’re beautiful in every picture you post. However, this picture wins the prize… maybe it’s the angle???

It’s very pretty, but it doesn’t look very cool-toned to me! I have yet to find a true blue-based pink blush that still looks blue-based once applied.

Anyway, no matter if the blush is cool-toned or not… It looks PERFECT on you!

I ordered this as i missed out on Briar Rose – and Christine, I’m really liking the full face pictures for blush!!! The angle shows your gorgeous cheeks off!!

I tried this on in the store and was surprised how much I liked it.
After buying MAC’s “Pinch Me” some time ago and disliking it (too warm/red/dark for me) I had actually sworn off pink blushes, but I see now that I probably just needed a cooler/lighter/more blue-toned one? I have now tried on “Subtle Breeze” two more times and I love it but I just don’t think that it lasts very long at all!! Does anybody know of a longer lasting (maybe creme) blush in a similar shade?
