Smith and Cult Warm Pink Flash Flush Cream Blush ($24.00 for 0.09 oz.) is a medium-dark pink with soft, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had good pigmentation in a single layer when applied with fingertips, which was how the formula was intended to be used, but application with fingertips was horrendous: patchy, uneven, and caused the product to pill up and flake off my skin. The texture highlighted any dryness present on my skin and emphasized pores rather than smoothed them out.
I was only able to salvage the product by using it with a stippling brush, which at least allowed for light blending and didn't allow the product to clump up as readily, but the product picked up poorly with brushes, so the effect was sheerer and not buildable. It lasted for six and a half hours on me before fading noticeably.
