MAC Restores Dazzle! Cremeblend Blush
MAC Shop MAC, Cook MAC: Restores Dazzle! Cremeblend Blush
MAC Restores Dazzle! Cremeblend Blush ($20.00 for 0.19 oz.) is described as a “rich plum.” It’s a gorgeous darkened raspberry with a subtle cool undertone and natural sheen. Bobbi Brown Plum is somewhat similar but pinker and lighter. MAC Vintage Grape is darker, less pink.
Whether you want a really dramatic, intense cheek color or a softer, subtler hue of pink-berry, you can easily achieve both here. The product is incredibly pigmented, so a little will go a long way–use a stippling brush and/or a light hand when applying if you desire sheer to medium color coverage. I applied with light-medium application in mind so it would be easily seen in photos.
Cremeblend Blush has an interesting texture that’s creamy but slick; it’s not thick like a traditional cream blush; it almost feels like a gel or cheek stain in feel, but it applies and looks like a cream blush. Ā I wasn’t able to test the wear of this specific shade for wear, but I’ve tested five or six of the various shades in this formula, and I typically average seven hours of wear.

Is it close to Mac Posey or Illamasqua Seduce?
Not like Posey, a little like Seduce.
This totally looks like the blush equivalent of red dwarf pro long wear lip creme!
So pretty! It looks great on you.
How do you think this would fair (pun intended, ha!) on NC15 complexion?
Totally workable, just use a very little amount and build up to desired intensity!
Yaya, thanks for the feedback, Christine! This is a shade outside my comfort zone, so I’m glad to hear the cremeblends are so buildable š
Uber cute!
Ummm, I think I’ll skip this one…
Such a beautiful color! I don’t do cream blushes, though. Maybe I could try this one out since it seems so lightweight.
This is stunning on you!!! It’s giving you a lovely radiance
Really lovely! Looks like a natural flush.
This looks lovely! Is it kinda similar to Benefit Benetint in terms of color and feel? I want those subtle berry/plum colored cheeks, not as grown up as brown, and not as sweet as pink. I want that sophisticated look. Do you think this will work for that with my NC15 skintone? š
I think it would!
How would it compare (if it even would) to Darkly my Dear?
Darkly My Dear is darker, plummier – browner.
I think these are also gonna be great for layering with powder blushes! I am going to pick up Restores Dazzle and Optimistic Orange.
Mac Shop/ Mac Cook/ Vera = Death of my savings lol
This is sooooo gorgeous!
i bought optimistic orange about 3 or 4 years ago. i barely used it because i didnt want to use all of it. lol! this was the perfect compliment to my nc45 skin tone. it brings a glow to my skin that is perfect. when this comes back out i will buy another one.
I wish it wasn’t limited edition! Looks like something i would love to wear in the fall/winter! Not so much in the spring though. more of a corals, and springy pinks type of gal.
I went to the Houston preview invite for their VIP and tried this. My complexion is medium brown NW44 and it doesn’t show up great on dark complexions. I didn’t really like it…their powder blush in a similar color shows more pigmentation on my skin than this product. It’s a pretty color, but not ideal with medium brown to dark brown complexions.
I’m getting this one! Gorgeous
it looks like raspberry sorbet. aaaand now i want raspberry sorbet!
I have Brit Wit and Posey… I’m eyeing this one and Florida (mostly because I’m from
Florida :p) do these compare pigmentation wise to the first 2 mentioned? because posey and especially Brit wit are very sheer .. loving the lipstick btw !
No, these are very, very pigmented!

Undercurrent!
I’m SO irritated this went up so early. >:-\ I MISSED the lippies I wanted!
They haven’t gone up on nordstrom or macy’s yet. Plus the stores haven’t put them out, you still have a chance of getting them.
This looks so pretty and natural on you, Christine!
Thanks, Kelly!
this colour looks so beautiful on you!
Thanks, Nicole!
PRETTY! love it
It is a gorgeous blush! It seems a bit dark, but when I saw it on you it looked great! I’ve been wanting to try a creme blend blush, but Ive heard other things that they are hard to blend. Christine do you have trouble with blending?
I don’t, actually!
Would this shade work for Fair skin?
Yes, definitely!
again.. amazing!
love everything on you in the photo.
so simple and modern.
and nude lip is really my thing. š
Hi. Looks lively on u. Do u think it would work onIndian medium dark to deep skin tone. Or would u suggest posey??? Newbie to blushes :))
Ā @Anita MJĀ I think this would work!
@Christine (Temptalia) thanks a lot š xxx
