Beauty Powders β€œcan be applied as a highlight, soft blush, or overall finish,” according to MAC. The way you might use a particular shade of Beauty Powder very often depends on what your skin tone is. This particular shade is very, very light, so it will work as a highlighter on most complexions and on very fair skin tones as a barely-there highlighting blush. The texture was firmer without being stiff or chalky, while the powder was smooth, blendable, and easy to apply to the skin. It had semi-sheer, buildable coverage that gave a subtle glow to the skin without emphasizing pores. It wore well for eight hours on me.

I wouldn’t have expected to like this but I really do. I feel like a snob asking this, but, could the design be scraped off the top of the compact? Is it a sticker or a print? I’ve never been into Trolls.

This ties right in with the dupe vs. original question. Too bad the troll disappears with use. He’s a cute throwback for people my age. Still have 10. Like to support Catrice, as I would love to see more Catrice/Cosnova products stateside. Their German sites are incredible. But Aura is lovely and proven. Wonder if there’s a dupe in the new ABHs that I probably cannot resist? But, how can I concentrate on the question, with those eyes commanding my attention? Gorgeous. Gotta pick up fairytale. It’s good mood for the summer. All very lovely.

Very soft and pretty highlight! Sometimes a cooler toned highlighter is quite welcomed, and perfect to have on hand in this blazing heat! Mental air conditioning! ?

Yep, when many people out here are either just starting their day, or still sleeping. I’m the later. Jealous of my son, his job has him up and getting ready at 4:30 AM! But at least he gets to enjoy those sweet 80’s.

Crazy, huh? My husband and I have been getting into the pool at night….it’s like bath water!! I thought living in Cave Creek would be cooler….temperature-wise…..

Kelly, how I wish this place had a pool, but S. Scottsdale, ya know…..where many small apt. complex pools have been filled with sand. So I have the neighborhood feral cat litter box right outside my door! Definitely would have thought Cave Creek and Carefree area would be a *little* cooler, too. And I’m sure we’re all wondering where our monsoon went? At least the humidity and clouds make the temps stay around 105Β°- ish or less, which is tolerable.

Really love this but all MAC face products break me out. I can use blushes but as a highlighter on my forehead, nose, chin etc. this would really not be suitable for me. Such a shame!

This LE seems to be made for me πŸ™‚ I love this. I hope I’ll be able to get it. I haven’t wanted this much from a MAC LE since Artificial Earth. I know that was a very different story, muted, nudeish-ish, but for soem unexplainable reason I loved it. This I love for the fun, yet werable colours and for the colourful packaging, I know the packaging shouldn’t be a factor but it is so colourful and fun!

The whole collection doesn’t particularly appeal to me but that beauty powder looks really pretty! beautiful eye look too, Christine!

While this looks pretty, I only have one Beauty Powder (Oh So Fair – it came in a trio in A Tartan Tale) and it is so disappointing – not really a blush, not a highlighter and not effective as a finishing type powder either – so I doubt I’d purchase this. Also, as a grown woman who likes a bit of sophistication (or bland nothingness) in her makeup packaging, this whole Troll thing puts me off. I remember Trolls when I was a kid and they seem to make a comeback every now and then but, honestly, no thanks on the packaging too.

Yes, some of them are like that πŸ™ I like the ones they release with medium pigment and a good sheen – then they seem more useful, though I wish they’d put out some darker toned ones, too – they run pretty light!

This one is so pretty! I remember the name as one I regretted not getting before and the not emphasizing texture is a very strong pro! I’m only allowing myself 1 piece from this collection and while I have more than enough beauty powders it’s going to be hard to let this one pass AGAIN!!

I like the product with the troll imprint on it, but I don’t like the outer packaging. The box is cute.

I actually really love this packaging! It’s perfect for the release–bright, fun, and kitschy! I’m very fair so I think this will work well as a highlight on me…and I really can’t resist the cute packaging! I want to get Midnight Trolls lipstick too…but seeing as I have no money I’m not sure how I’m gonna pull this one off, so wish me luck :p

Christine, do you think that this would work as a finishing powder on N_20 skin? Would I have to use a very light hand? PS: It’s such a pretty highlight on you!
