MAC Petallic Metallic Extra Dimension Skinfinish Review & Swatches
Petallic Metallic
MAC Petallic Metallic Extra Dimension Skinfinish ($37.00 for 0.31 oz.) has a light-medium, peachy-orange base with iridescent pink-to-lavender shimmer and faint sparkle that gave it a luminous sheen when applied and buffed on my skin. The texture was moderately-dense but not overly firm, so it picked up well with a moderately-dense brush and deposited product evenly. It blended out nicely along the edges and didn’t emphasize my skin’s natural texture. It had mostly opaque, buildable coverage that stayed on well for eight and a half hours on me.

The Extra Dimension Skinfinish formula is supposed to give “the perfect glow to the skin” with a “creamy powder formula” that wears for “10 hours.” It’s a powder highlighter that I’d describe as a moderate to intense highlighter, and they come in varying hues with some that might work as highlighting blushes/bronzers are on some skin tones and true highlighters on other skin tones. In general, the formula is very pigmented, blendable, and wears around eight to nine hours on me.

This is so pretty on all levels. I kind of want it, but I’ll probably pass. I don’t need it
I think this is just Show Gold repackaged, if you miss it and want it later. I have both and I can’t tell the difference.
The Extra Dimension Skinfinish range has been quite a successful set of products from MAC and it’s good to see it continuing. This particular one looks lovely too.
I likey this alot!
Applied to the actual cheeks, this one looks way better than the initial arm swatch! This is definitely something I would love to own and wear!
The highlighter petallic is such a pretty and unique shade!
I’m tempted by this but in reality, lovely as it is, I don’t think it’s a good colour for me. Still, it always gladdens my heart when MAC gets something right!
This immediately reminded my of a lighter, highlighter version of Dior Hologlam!
Uh oh, it contains Bismuth 🙁 my face cant handle that anymore
