MAC Luxe Natural Mineralize Rich Lipstick ($22.00 for 0.14 oz.) is described as a “light beige cream.” It’s a pale peach with warm undertones and a creamy finish with a natural sheen. MAC To the Future is a touch darker with more brown in it. Giorgio Armani #111 is darker, warmer, and frosted. MAC Woo Me is pinker and glossier. MAC Naturally Eccentric is less warm-toned. MAC The Faerie Glenn is darker. Maybelline Born With It is pinker. Chanel Mythic is sheerer so it appears darker.

It had mostly opaque color coverage, and the color applied evenly and smoothly. The consistency is creamy with enough slip to glide on well without pulling or tugging on the lips while depositing good color payoff in a single pass. There’s enough creaminess, though, that pressing lips together will create little lines–I noticed it more so with this shade than others, which is partially due to the fact that this is a very light shade. Luxe Natural wore three and a half hours on me, and I felt like it wasn’t hydrating but not really drying–neither–but the other hues in the formula have been more hydrating.

You know it’s an amazing collection when even your “least favorite” of the line is still very nice. This is probably a little too light and nude for me, but it is still a very wearable color. I can’t believe something this light and opaque does not appear chalky as most such colors seem to do. Nicely done MAC.

I’m loving the color, but again, I’m a bit aprehensive about the formula. That said, I plan to give it a try when it hits counters.

I really love this, and feel it would pair nice with a smokey eye. I have a Nars lipgloss in a nude but the wear time isn’t great. I think I will be picking this up.
