MAC Harmony Blush Review, Photos, Swatches
MAC Harmony Blush
MAC Harmony Blush ($21.00 for 0.21 oz.) is described as a “muted rose-beige brown [with a Matte finish].” It’s a muted, medium-dark brown with a matte finish. It is slightly warm-toned, but it isn’t orange. NARS Madly is slightly darker and more shimmery. MAC Coppertone is warmer, brighter, more orange. Burberry Earthly is browner, less warm-toned. See comparison swatches.
Harmony has long been used by MAC fans as blush, bronzer, and contour, so it can be a very multi-tasking product in your stash, depending on your skin tone and preferences. I remember this was my go-to for contouring when I was in college, and I only put it down when MAC came out with Sculpt, which is grayer and more neutral. It nice, buildable color payoff that went on true-to-pan but could be applied lightly for a softer application. The texture was smooth, finely-milled, and blendable on the skin. Harmony wore well for almost eight hours and then started to fade.

This is one of my all-time favorite blushes! It doesn’t look like much in the pan, but it’s so nice on. I normally use it as a blush, but I do contour with it occasionally.
You look gorgeous Christine!! It truly does seem that you are with a healthy tan. (Or these summer vibes are really starting to get me!)
Thanks, Camila 🙂
I second this. Will this work on pale skin?
If I hadn’t just bought royal sunset, I may have had to get this one! I have too many blushes. Based on your review from a few years ago, I bought sunabasque as a better quality dupe for soft sable by cover girl and I LOVE it.
Yay! Sunbasque is a great shade 🙂
It looked so light in the pan! But on your skin it actually looks better.
It never ceases to amaze me how entirely different a shade can look on one person versus the next. This is one of those shades. I used to use harmony as a contour shade before moving on to Chanel Notorious. This blush reads really neutral almost taupey and slightly ashy on me and doesn’t resemble what NARS madly looks on me either. Too weird.
I’m not surprised — the rosiness gets completely lost against my skin tone!
After reading so much about this as a good contour shade for light complexions, I gave it a try at a MAC counter. Sadly, it didn’t work; on me, it pulls strongly in the peachy-pink direction. Granted I merely swatched it on my hand, so it may pull a bit differently on my face. I did, however, pick up Brit Wit, which on me pulls really “dirty” & grey, so all wasn’t lost, LOL. I may try this on my face next trip to the mall, but I’m so sketchy about testers.
This looks beautiful on you. Unfortunately, I dont think I can find it in Argentina 🙁
I bought this ages ago. Honestly I use it as an eyeshadow, because I never have enough time to contour my face.
This was my first contouring product ever! Btw, do you know of a mac or inglot dupe for Burberry trench?
MAC Shroom is the closest, I think!
I wonder how that compares to Bobbi Brown’s Almond. I think you already said a little while ago that you have never tried Almond, right?
I love your rating system! So helpful. Harmony looks similar to MAC’s Enough Said blush (for which I’m still looking for a dupe)!
This was one of the first blushes I bought from MAC! It’s a great color.
How would you compare this to Nars Madly?
Hi Julie!
Please see the dupes section that I listed in the review!
Is Sculpt still available?
Yes, it’s part of the permanent range in the PRO line.
I’m hitting MAC soon and will have to check this out….it looks AMAZING on you. (Were you wearing other makeup in the full-face shot? It looks like no-makeup makeup. Stunning.) I’m a little fairer but still very warm-toned, so I’m hoping it would be a good blush and/or contour for me.
Hey Laura!
Just foundation 🙂
I don’t think I have ever seen you more beautiful than you are in the photo….and that is certainly saying something….as you are always so beautiful! Patsyann
Thank you, Patsyann!
