MAC Happy Go Dazzingly Opalescent Highlighter Review, Photos, Swatches
Happy Go Dazzlingly
MAC Happy Go Dazzlingly Opalescent Highlighter ($34.00 for oz.) is a light-medium gold with warm, yellow undertones and a luminous sheen. It had semi-opaque, buildable color payoff (compared to the “excellent colour payoff” claimed) with a smooth, moderately dense consistency that was soft enough to be blendable on the skin but not soft enough that there was a ton of excess product kicked up in the pan. The powder lasted well for eight and a half hours on me.

This is probably too warm for me but I’m so happy to see MAC having Xmas collection stuff that is good and so nicely packaged. This reminds me of the Alluring Aquatic packaging in that it’s noticeably different and also nice, rather than just sort of cheap looking or childish.
Yes! Most of MAC’s LE packaging turns me off.
This is the highlighter that I got and I’m very pleased. I have to say that the packaging is so beautiful too.
A gorgeous shade if it works for your complexion. The whole packaging looks very classy.
Doesn’t work for me completely but I might still pick it up. 😉 The packing is awesome in person though. lol
Ooooh, so purty! I love me a gold highlighter but had to resist since I have so many already
Never thought I’d hear myself say that I have enough gold! LOL! Highlighters that is. This is a nice, softer glow than the usual gold highlighter, though. Perhaps a trend towards more subtle has very quietly begun.
I really like this, but I think I’ll be getting the Milani dupe due to it being similar enough for me.
The mac website called this a face powder, but a lot of blogs are calling it a highlighter… now I’m super confused.
MAC’s website describes it as a highlighter: “This opalescent face powder transforms cheeks into pearly orbs that light up the night. Adds the perfect high-impact shimmering glow to skin. Features a snowflake-embossed design and cool crushed champagne metallic packaging.”
Very nice for darker skins
