MAC Full of Joy Blush ($21.00 for 0.21 oz.) is described as a “lavender.” It’s a cool-toned, light lavender with a hint of pink and a satin finish. It’s a true lavender–this is a blush that doesn’t just turn pink applied to the skin. It had excellent color payoff with a soft, silky texture that was blendable, buildable, and wore for almost eight hours before starting to fade. NARS Sex Fantasy (LE, $29.00) is much pinker. NARS Mistinguette (LE, $29.00) is also pinker. NARS Gaiety (P, $29.00) is pinker. MAC Unconventional (LE, $21.00) is slightly p inker. MAC Lazy Sunday (LE, $20.00) is lighter, pinker, cream. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

MAC Peony Petal Blush ($21.00 for 0.21 oz.) is described as a “bright blue pink.” It’s a medium, blue-based pink with cool undertones and a satin finish. It had great pigmentation, and it applied easily–no issues blending or applying it to get smooth, even coverage. The most recent release seems slightly softer and easier to use than the original, which felt a little dry for the first few uses. The color wore well for almost eight hours before it started to fade. Milani Delizioso Pink (10) (P, $7.99) is lighter. NARS Gaiety (P, $29.00) is lighter. MAC I’m the One (LE, $21.00) is a smidgen lighter, warmer. Illamasqua Morale (P, $26.00) is more shimmery.See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Hi Christine,
I was just wondering what blush you were wearing in the last picture on your left cheek (not the side with peony petal). Its such a pretty peach!

yellow/olive skinned ladies, i mentioned this in another post- but full of joy works great as a base for those cool blushes that tend to still lean range on your skin, a bit of it under colors like Gaiety or Nyx’s Pinky, dior rosy glow etc, works wonders!

Love full of joy!

It’s really difficult to find truly lavender blushes, I’ve had to order them from Korean brands (where lilac cheeks seem to be a lot more popular) I’m definitely going to have to get this one!
