MAC Digi-Pops: Dazzleglass
Oh, Dazzleglass — why must you be so pricey for such a teeny, tiny amount? It’s really such a shame, given your packaging–all long and round and large in the right places! Dazzleglass is a slightly tacky, thicker lip gloss with a high dosage of glitter with sheer to semi-sheer color. Nordstrom will see seven shades as part of Digi-Pops, but for whatever reason, they’re not available for pre-order online (but I know stores were doing pre-orders for them).
Glamour OD, Spanking Rich, and Utterly Posh are repromotes, but the other four shades are new.
Dazzleglass ($18.50 U.S. / $21.50 CDN)
- Boys Go Crazy is a darkened plum-berry purple with iridescent purple and blue-violet glitter. It’s a little vampy but the sheerness keeps it from being a total, in-your-face kind of shade.
- Fabulous Fun is a semi-sheer, brightened fuchsia-pink with fuchsia-purple glitter.  It gave my lips noticeable color, but it’s still on the sheerer side.
- Glamour OD is a brightened red with a touch of silver and pink glitter. This is a repromote.
- Hi-Falutin’ is a sheer, softened peach-coral with gold glitter. It looks more like a milky peach with subtle gold glitter on lips.
- Spanking Rich is a semi-sheer, softened pink mauve with fuchsia glitter. This is a repromote.
- Utterly Posh is a semi-sheer darkened orange with a little brown and orange-gold glitter. This is a repromote.
- You Got the Look is a brightened tangerine orange with almost teal glitter. It has a rather milky base, and it needs to be applied with some precision to keep it from gathering when you press your lips together.

RECOMMENDATION: I’m always going to get frustrated with the itty bitty amount of product you get in each dazzleglass, despite the the lip gloss being rather pretty.

Maybe Liquid Lurex. They’re all kind of this oddly muted color – and I don’t really dig how they look alone on lips (overall – some are better than others), so I think these are passable.
Can you reccommend a coral lipstick and lipgloss for me..I am nw 45 thanks.

I haven’t heard that the dazzleglasses will be going to counters–just the lipsticks.
I bought Glamour OD to wear over Baby’s On Fire and it looks great. I was afraid it would be too glittery but it’s not.
Oh boo I’m so disappointed at You Got the Look. I have been looking for a nice pigmented nonsheer tangerine lipgloss forever and I can’t find one. Tokidoki failed, Tarina Tarantino did too. Does one not exist?

I am def. not feeling these, or anything else among the MAC Nordstrom Exclusives…too much chunky glitter and not enough pigment, waaaah. Pass.
I’m so glad I didn’t pre-ordered Spanking Rich in the end because there’s less color payoff than I tought. I prefer my Snazzy lipstick.

Not as sticky as Lipglass, not as thick as Superglass!

I love Dazzleglasses, but they keep coming out w/ new shades that are so similar to existing shades or so sheer, they’re not really worth buying. I think I’m just going to stick w/ the ones I already have.
How would you compare Boys go Crazy to Fab Frenzy. If you love purples is it worth having both?
I think so — Boys Go Crazy is darker and more purple.
Some of these look pretty, but they do seem missable. I’m curious about the lipsticks, though.
This collection is just gross. The colors don’t stand out and the finish is just bad. The color looks uneven and disco ball glittery. I’m disappointed.

How similar is You Got the Look to Flurry of Fun? It sure looks close!
It’s similar in the base color, but it doesn’t have the cool teal reflects of Flurry of Fun.
Sigh, love them in the pipe, hate them on lips, as usual they’re invisible :_(

They look nice in your photos in their tubes but I like milky lipglosses more so these do not seem to be anything for me..

fabulous fun & utterly posh are super pretty! boys go crazy is pretty to, but I feel like I wouldn’t be able to pull it off haha
I have given up on dazzleglass. I can’t use it fast enough before that icky, “porky” greasy taste and smell sets it. I have vowed to not buy another tube which really bums me out because they are so beautiful over lipstick or even on their own but I can’t keep throwing my money down the drain. Give me a Cremesheen any day…
I like the Hi-Faultin! I actually prefer pale almost clear lipgloss, because I like to do up my eyes super dramatic and if I did my lips to I would look like a hot mess!! I cannot wait to get this!!

Glamour OD was my favorite of the original releases, and I found it didn’t get as thick as the others…. I might have to get a new one!!
I sure don’t need any more of those. I have a tonn, and they are all the same to me.
I can’t wait to pick mine up tomorrow! I pre-ordered Boys Go Crazy and Glamour OD…but then switched the latter for Hi-Falutin. I’m also a Dazzleglass crackwhore, so they’re hard for me to resist. Can’t wait!
Christine, do you think any of the glosses are interesting enough to buy (like, anything different from permanent dazzle glasses)? From the pics I like a little something about each of them, but I usually just try to just go for the most unique in collections, if there is something like that..

Darker, more purple, less red.
