MAC Coppertone Blush Review, Photos, Swatches

MAC Coppertone Blush ($21.00 for 0.21 oz.) is described as a “peach brown [with a matte finish].” It’s a medium, muted orange with brown undertones and a matte finish. I get the “peach brown” description, though. NARS Gina is a touch lighter. MAC Seasonal Appeal is less warm. MAC Eternal Sun is a bit darker. MAC Barefaced is more shimmery. Chanel Espiegle is more shimmery, lighter. See comparison swatches.

Coppertone has a soft, smooth texture that applies evenly on the skin.  It’s blendable, and the color goes on slightly darker once applied than it looks in the pan (I think the matte finishes tend to do this; like the natural oils on the skin tend to darken them once applied).  The color is buildable, though it’s fairly pigmented so I would advise using a lighter hand on fairer complexions and gradually building the color up to see how it works for you.  It lasted seven and a half hours well on me, and it started to fade shortly after eight hours.

My HG blush is Milani Mineral Blush in Sunset Beach (discontinued) and people often tell me this is a dupe but I hadn’t seen swatches, thanks! I may go pick it up!

With Nars Gina and Chanel Espiegle in my crazy enormous blush stash, I think I’m safe to skip.. but this MAC blush looks wonderful on your complexion. I think shades like this work well on both cool and warm skintones too.

Did you change where it clearly states whether a product is LE or not? I’m not seeing it. I feel like this in not LE, but I’m not 100% sure. I do like the blush.

My mother is super picky when it comes to blushes but she loves this one!
I think it is gorgeous, but Gina is on my wishlist for so long, I probably don’t need this too.

You look lovely as always, Cristine!

I thought this was a new color. lol. I asked when this color would be out at the pro store and they looked at me like an idiot. Of course it was South Coast Plaza so I wasn’t surprised. The sales people are a little stuck up.lol. They said they always had this color.
My question is, do you review all colors when you try them even if they were out for awhile?
