MAC Bad 'n' Bare, Derriere, Pink Power Lipsticks Reviews & Swatches
Bad 'n' Bare
MAC Bad ‘n’ Bare Lipstick ($18.50 for 0.1 oz.) is a soft, light brown with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. It had rich color coverage that adhered evenly to my lips with a smooth, fluid stroke. The texture was denser, slightly firmer in the tube but glided across my lips without dragging. It was comfortable to wear over the four and a half hours it lasted for, though the formula was neither drying nor hydrating on me.

MAC Lipstick comes in a variety of finishes, and the pigmentation and wear tend to be dependent on the finish. The sheer finishes, like Lustres, tend to wear for only a couple of hours and have sheer coverage (as designed) and are non-drying.
Some of the original Matte shades have a stiffer, drier formula, while newer ones have a more velvety, silicone-feel to them, and the latter are creamier, more comfortable to wear, and easier to apply, but most Matte shades are quite pigmented and long-wearing, though some are drying.
The Amplified and Satin finishes tend to have good pigmentation, lightly creamy to moderately creamy consistencies with a bit of shine, and moderate to long wear with deeper, richer shades wearing longer. The Frost and Metallic finishes have the most variance between shades with coverage ranging from semi-sheer to opaque with average wear and non-drying to slightly drying formulas. All MAC lipsticks are vanilla-scented but have no discernible taste.

Derriere
MAC Derriere Lipstick ($18.50 for 0.1 oz.) is a medium-dark brown with warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. The lipstick had a denser feel to the bullet initially, but it was smooth, lightly creamy, and applied easily across my lips without dragging. It had opaque pigmentation in a single layer that sat well on my lips. It stayed on nicely for four and a half hours and was slightly hydrating over time.

Pink Power
MAC Pink Power Lipstick ($18.50 for 0.1 oz.) is a soft, medium pink with warm undertones and a frosted sheen. It had medium color payoff that didn’t build up much beyond that. The texture was thin, emollient but not creamy (almost like a firmer lip-balm) that was comfortable to wear but didn’t feel moisturizing. It applied somewhat evenly and didn’t sink into my lip lines as much as I anticipated, but the product could have gone on better overall. This shade lasted well for three and a half hours on me.

Bad ‘n’ Bare is just lovely, will be purchasing. Perfect nude for my skin tone (nc30).
Bad n Bare is beautiful! I’m so glad MAC is upping their game again. I just saw a review for one of their newer launches of eyeshadows and they looked amazing. I have remained a lover of MAC so to see great products from them again is warming my glam heart.
I’m just sad that Derriere wouldn’t look good on me, because it’s a great name.
Pink Power is a bad version of an 80’s frosty pink if ever there was one. Nope!
Not wearing anything referring to my butt on my lips, either. No way.
Bad n’ Bare is the only one above that I actually did try on and liked! But I still loved the other similarly colored one with the glossier finish S’Sexy so much more!
As much as I love brown lipsticks, these ones are just a little too flat for me and the shades are too caramel to suit me.
I wonder if Pink Power might be a nice nude-ish on me (Mehr is). Will have to investigate.
