We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I hate gold shadows. Lol. I seriously wish gold would be curtailed in so many e/s and h/l palettes but the shades do look magnificent on the right skin tones. I can wear dirty/burnished golds or pewter golds.. very limited.

I have become a great lover of gold eyeshadows.
My current favourite, which is under $10 is the City Color Cleo shade – vibrant, rich gold that can be paired with olive shades, plum, navy, forest greens and browns.
In palettes, I just can’t go past Half Baked by UD – stunning shade.

Gold is one of my favourite colours, the truer the better. Really brings out my blue eyes. I’m one of the few people who don’t mind the repetition of UD Half Baked across Naked and Naked 2.
When I had my Mac lesson earlier this year the artist used Melon as the main colour. My eyes went from pale blue-grey to deep deep blue. It was astonishing.
