LYS Beauty Kindness Higher Standard Satin Matte Cream Blush Review & Swatches
Kindness
LYS Beauty Kindness Higher Standard Satin Matte Cream Blush ($16.00 for 0.23 oz.) is a light-medium coral with balanced undertones between pink and orange. The texture was lightweight, lightly creamy with moderate slip, and thin without being prone to sheering out too readily. I didn’t have any issues applying it to bare skin or over foundation as it did not lift up or create any patchiness to base products.
It delivered full color coverage in a single layer, which was as marketed, but it was very blendable, so it could be diffused and blended out for a sheerer effect if desired. You could also just use less product and build up where needed. It felt a little more powder-like, not totally dry or matte, once it came into contact with my skin, but it had plenty of play time. This shade stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Formula Overview
$16.00/0.23 oz. - $69.57 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "high payoff" with a "satin-matte" finish that has a "natural flush." They were very pigmented but blendable and easy to control, so one could apply less and get sheerer, more buildable coverage, if preferred. The consistency was lightweight, thin, and had moderate slip but turned more powder-like--the "satin-matte" came through--as it was applied and blended out on my skin.
It didn't have a severe dry down, so it remained slightly movable as it dried down; it wasn't tacky or particularly dewy, so it seemed true to the "satin-matte" finish described (but wasn't so matte that it was dry or flat-looking on). They applied well over bare skin as well as over liquid foundation and set foundation. They wore between eight and eight and a half hours on me.

Looks like a lovely option for light and very light skintones. But it’s too light for it to show up on me. The good news? It shows me that this new brand is highly inclusive and has products that cover all skintones and depths!
This really is a great formula, very consistent (although the new cream blushes from Colourpop are also kinda consistent but in a bad way). This particular shade probably won’t show on me though, but should be great for light skin tones.
This is a gorgeous shade and one that I could wear – a perfect formula and finish too.
This is more of a niche colour than the other ones you’ve reviewed so far, but it looks like the kind of shade I go for when I just want to dab on a little bit of colour to not look too sallow. Nice!
Ooo, I could work with that has an everyday blush for the Spring.
