Estee Lauder Dreamlike, Intuitive, Astonishing Illuminating Shine Lipsticks Reviews & Swatches
Dreamlike (904)
Estee Lauder Dreamlike (904) Pure Color Illuminating Shine ($32.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a light, pink-coral with moderate, warm undertones and a glossy, luminous finish. It had semi-opaque, buildable color payoff, which was more coverage than promised (it was supposed to be sheer in one layer and then buildable0.
The texture was lightweight, creamy, and almost balm-like as it had a fair amount of slip, which resulted in the product settling into my lip lines and clinging to imperfections. It lasted for three hours but had further settling over time, but the formula was hydrating at least!

Formula Overview
$32.00/0.06 oz. - $533.33 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "sheer to medium, buildable" coverage with "hydrating shine" while helping to "reduce fine, dry lines and lip flakiness." The majority of the shades had more medium, buildable coverage that could be built up to nearly opaque coverage.
The lighter shades were the least forgiving and sometimes emphasized or gathered around lip lines and lip texture, while mid-tone and deeper shades often applied beautifully with even coverage and in a way that made my lips appear smoother and plusher. The consistency was lightweight with moderate slip and felt like a lipstick-lip balm hybrid as a result, and the finish was glossier and more luminous (without being overtly shimmery/pearly).
They were comfortable and hydrating to wear, though they were shorter-wearing due to the amount of slip, so most shades wore for three hours with a few of the richer and deeper shades lasting almost five hours on me. They had a sweet, vanilla-like scent but no discernible taste.

Intuitive (910)
Estee Lauder Intuitive (910) Pure Color Illuminating Shine ($32.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a medium pink-coral with a luminous finish that was shiny without being overly shimmery. The lipstick had a lightweight consistency that was creamy, smooth, and had moderate slip, which helped it glide comfortably across my lips.
It had semi-opaque pigmentation in one layer, which was a lot more coverage than marketed, and built up to almost full coverage with a second layer. This shade wore well for four hours and felt moisturizing over time.

Astonishing (912)
Estee Lauder Astonishing (912) Pure Color Illuminating Shine ($32.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a brighter, medium-dark fuchsia pink with subtle, cool undertones and barely-there iridescent pearl. It was one of the few shades with noticeable pearl and not just a shiny finish.
The texture was lightweight, creamy, and had moderate slip, which helped the product glide comfortably over my lips, but thankfully, it didn’t settle noticeably into my lip lines nor was feathering an issue. It had medium, buildable pigmentation, so it was more pigmented than marketed. This shade stayed on nicely for four hours and felt hydrating over time.

I really like Intuitive, but do have UD 100°, so that’s a no-go for me.
However, I am crazy about Astonishing! I love that slight icy cool shift it has. Makes it perfect for those 100°+ days coming upon us soon.
What is happening with all the good brands lately? This is not like EL to put out some average lipsticks at all.
I’m surprised to say that I like all of them! I’m usually not one for the type of coverage described, but since they are more opaque, they look like they would work well for me.
