L'Oreal Dewey Petal, Glazed Pink, Luminous Coral Colour Riche Lipsticks Reviews & Swatches
Dewey Petal
L’Oreal Dewey Petal Colour Riche Shine Lipstick ($9.99 for 0.10 oz.) is a light, bubblegum pink with cool, blue undertones and a glossy sheen. It had semi-opaque pigmentation that applied evenly but did pull into my lip lines. The lipstick was creamy with moderate slip, which gave it more shine, but likely was why (along with the milkier color) it was more prone to settling in my lip lines. This shade lasted well for three and a half hours but was hydrating while worn.

Formula Overview
$9.99/0.1 oz. - $99.90 Per Ounce
The formula is described as "an ultra-rich, ultra-radiant lipstick with a glossy finish and comfortable wear." Per the brand, "in just one stroke," you'll get "rich color pay-off" with a "hydrating and lasting shine." The pigmentation varied from shade to shade but was generally medium to semi-opaque, often buildable to semi-opaque to opaque coverage. The texture was moderately emollient with noticeable slip, balminess, and felt lightweight on the lips.
Most of the shades did not emphasize the texture of my lips and didn't settle much into my lip lines (glossier, more slippery formulas often do!). The shades lasted between three and five hours with deeper/richer hues lasting longer and leaving very faint stains behind. I found the formula to be lightly hydrating over time and comfortable to wear. They had a sweet, fruity scent but no discernible taste.

Glazed Pink
L’Oreal Glazed Pink Colour Riche Shine Lipstick ($9.99 for 0.10 oz.) is a soft, light-medium pink with subtle, cool undertones and a luminous sheen. It had semi-sheer coverage, which wasn’t very buildable. The consistency was lightweight, moderately emollient but not too slippery on my lips, and comfortable to apply and to wear. The lipstick did not apply as evenly as other shades, and the product also settled in my lip lines noticeably. It lasted for three hours and was hydrating over time.

Luminous Coral
L’Oreal Luminous Coral Colour Riche Shine Lipstick ($9.99 for 0.10 oz.) is a soft, medium coral with warm undertones and a soft sheen. It had semi-opaque pigmentation that applied decently, but it could have yielded more even results. There was a touch of product that gathered in my lip lines, but it wasn’t too noticeable from a normal viewing distance. The texture was lightly creamy with some slip but did not feel heavy or slide around too readily while I wore it. The color stayed on well for four hours and was moisturizing to me.

“MAC Saint Germain is darker” is not a sentence often uttered!
That is true! I think Fleshpot is the only lipstick that comes to mind that is ultra light (but not white).
Yeap. Anything above those are basically white. Saint Germaine is definitely either the lightest or second lightest pink I have by far. Fleshpot is the same for nudes.
Wow … your eyes are *everything* in this review. Perfection!
Thank you, Alecto! 🙂
Luminous Coral is not my favorite of the shades I have. It seems really orange on me and isn’t a flattering shade for my skin tone and with my very pigmented lips. I think it is the only one of the shades I own that I really don’t like but because it is hydrating I sometimes use it more like a lip balm at night if I have left my Nuxe Reve de Mele lip balm in my purse and feel too lazy to get up and retrieve it. I wear a CPAP mask so the lippie doesn’t get on my pillow, FYI.
The coral shade is really pretty and I would have preferred it if it were a tad more pigmented.
Luminous Coral is sweet! Should I be even a little shocked that when I did the “Check Vanity For Dupes” there were two? Although, seeing UD Liar showing up as one *was* a bit of a surprise.
Holy cow — Dewey Petal is giving me strong 60’s vibes. I feel like I’d need to be wearing a sleeveless a-line dress decorated with dinner-plate sized graphic flowers in order to pull that off.
