Lethal Cosmetics Velvet Dusk Collection includes a new, 12-pan eyeshadow palette (though all shades are also available individually) along with four new shades of gel eyeliner. FYI, Covet and Revolve are supposed to be “trichromes,” though both were less intense shifters (Revolve was very subtle, even in person). Here are swatches!

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Thanks for getting this up so quickly, Christine! I wasn’t seeing the shifts in those shades, either, when I saw them in videos. Interesting.

I have to say, although I like Lethal Cosmetics as a brand, they’re definitely not my favorite eyeshadow formula. I absolutely love their face powders, but I think my expectations were too high for their shadows.

Hard agree on the eyeshadow. Because the brand is so hard to get I built a 9 pan palette last year and it’s a bit of a regret purchase. I found it fine, but not worth the hype, at least not at this price point!

Exactly my feelings! You have to pay $15 shipping to the states, and on top of that, the price is equivalent to a luxury brand. I find it difficult to recommend their formula when I enjoy Pat McGrath, Natasha Denona, and other indie brands stateside a bit more.

That said, if you’re in Europe, this is probably a better buy than US brands.

Why is it that almost all palettes lately have only three or so colors that interest me?
So this time, the purples are a go for me and the green, Cryptic. So, no need to gravitate towards this palette even though I have zero products from this company.
