Revolve is a medium-dark purple with subtle, warmer undertones and a chunkier, sparkly finish. The texture was drier, more loosely-pressed, and very prone to fallout. It did not adhere evenly to bare skin with a dry brush; it was slightly better adhering with a fingertip when pressed into place, but it had to be applied with a dampened brush to really go on evenly.
I noticed that the sheen seemed to fade/mute shortly after the initial application, too. It had opaque pigmentation but a lot of fallout as soon as I started to work with it, even over an eyeshadow primer. Lastly, it's supposed to be a "trichrome" and shift between "purple-red-blue," but I didn't get any shift out of this at all... no matter the angle! There were signs of fading after seven and a half hours of wear.
